United Nations to invoke border crisis as justification for invasion of USA?

(NaturalNews) Officials with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHRC) are "intensely discussing in meetings" the possibility of extending UN protection to tens of thousands of Central American aliens crossing illegally into the United States from Mexico by defining them as "refugees" who are only seeking asylum from political and domestic violence in their home countries.
According to WorldNetDaily, officials who are familiar with the talks have said that it is "a tricky situation," because the Central American citizens are not part of a group that the United Nations has designated as victims of political or religious persecution:
A UNHCR official confirmed [July 14] to WND via email that a 10-nation meeting in Nicaragua of ministers of the interior from the U.S., Mexico and various Central American countries was held [last week].
The ministers, according to preliminary reports obtained by WND, concluded the Central American illegal aliens are "refugees" deserving international protection under the auspices of the U.N. as they seek asylum in the U.S. The ministers cited the U.N.'s 30-year-old declaration on the rights of refugees.
Is the U.S. government planning another sellout of Americans?
In attendance at the meeting were UNHRC representatives along with officials from SICA, the El Savador-headquartered non-governmental organization known in English as the Central American Integration System. WND reported that the group was first endorsed by the U.N. General Assembly in a resolution Dec. 10, 1993, in an effort to create regional groups and institutions authorized to interact with the U.N. on an official basis, to unify Central American states both politically and economically.
The UNHRC in Colombia notified WND that the United Nations planned to issue a press release regarding the 10-nation meeting in Nicaragua, after obtaining comments from SICA and the host country.
WND reported that, in 1991, SICA was created by an alliance between Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, with the tiny nation of Belize coming on board in 2013.
SICA includes the U.S., Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay and Colombia as regional observers.
There are factions within the U.S. that would utterly oppose any attempt by the United Nations -- even with Obama Administration permission -- to designate the flood of illegal immigrants currently pouring over the U.S. southwest border as refugees in need of special protection. But even at that, such a designation would be a tough sell, politically and otherwise.
Because the fact is, there is nothing new about violence and poverty in Central America. Doris O'Brien wrote for The American Thinker:
There's nothing new about the deplorable conditions in Central America. Poverty and waves of violence have been threatening people there for decades. But not until a way was devised to misinterpret an immigration law did the widespread exodus of children to the Promised Land actually come to pass. Forget the buses and trains. These wayward kids were transported here in... the modern-day equivalent of the Trojan Horse.
Obama administration was making prior arrangements
And there is this: According to the website of former U.S. Rep. Allen West of Florida, the Obama Administration advertised back in January of this year for vendors to help transport unaccompanied alien children.
Was the administration expecting the current influx at the U.S. border? It would certainly seem so.
"I tried calling both of the contact names listed on the page to see if they'd found a vendor yet, but got voicemail," Michelle Hickford, the website's Editor-in-Chief, wrote. "The question is, how in January, did the U.S. government know up to 65,000 unaccompanied illegal alien children would be arriving?"
She continued: "Please send me evidence that this is not an orchestrated invasion, and I will remove my tinfoil hat."
