Allopathic doctors in America have dollar signs in their eyes over healthy elderly patients

by S. D. Wells

(NaturalNews) What happens to you if you are fairly healthy, over 75 years of age and self-sufficient, and you go to the doctor or hospital because you have asthma, develop bronchitis, catch a virus or get pneumonia? Do doctors take advantage of the elderly, even after running tests and finding nothing wrong? Do these doctors, who seem like mad scientists in the USA, actually prescribe medications that are NOT necessary just to keep people sick?

What constitutes elderly abuse from a doctor or hospital?

Some people understand nutrition and how immunity is built up over time by consuming organic food, organic whole food and organic supplements. Some people understand that, when you get sick, you often get better soon, if you don't pour in a bunch of chemical foods, drinks, medicines, vaccines, flu shots and fluoridated water. Yet somehow, in the United States, people have a sort of blind faith that only chemicals can cure ills, even though more people die from chemical (FDA-approved) medicine than in car wrecks or from taking illegal drugs. And if you don't know these facts, these statistics, and you have nobody "looking out for you," well then, you're just an easy target, for Obamacare and the SICK CARE reign that besieges an entire nation full of elderly people, who think they're going to the right places for advice and care but are sometimes deadly mistaken.

A Virginia woman, by the name of Mae, encountered such a real-life nightmare recently, and you may want to hear her story, from her side, and take heed. This could happen to your grandparent, or parent, or even YOU in the future. This is happening all over the country, and it's about to get worse thanks to the newly mandated IRS-enforceable chronic sick care industry -- what is better known as the "Medical-Industrial Complex." Is this unethical money-making machine getting completely out of control at the expense of our seniors? It sure looks like it.

Introducing Mae -- a self-sufficient, healthy and smart woman born in 1933

"It all started in early December when I woke up in the middle of the night coughing. I smelled some fumes coming from the bathroom, and when I walked around the house, I noticed there were fumes coming from the kitchen sink too. After two days of suffering from an asthma attack, I was listening to the local news talking about people who had been calling in about an 'odor' coming from the tap water. The city official said once a year they have to 'purify the water' and that the fumes will 'go away eventually.' The asthma turned into a cold, my eyes got sore and were swollen, and I was congested. When I started wheezing, my friend took me to the hospital."

"The ER (emergency room) doctor first said I had the flu, then he said I must have pneumonia. Later on, after running some tests, he comes back in and says it looks like I have bronchitis and that this was not good coupled with my asthma. Finally, the ER doctor turned me over to the 'house' doctor, who prescribed me medications for the wheezing and congestion. The house doctor - she asks me, 'Oh, so you have chest pain?' I said, 'No.' She says, 'You have chest pain!' I said, 'No, I do not have any chest pain.' (No response from her). I had lost some weight since 2010 and the blood pressure reading was obviously not working right (her arms were too skinny). Back then, my nutritionist took me off dairy, bread, wheat and soy. I eat mainly organic fruits and vegetables that I buy from Whole Foods and from the organic section at Harris Teeter. I have been following the diet well since 2010 and my insides feel so much better."

"During my week in the hospital, the same 'house doctor' put me on medications for high blood pressure and diabetes. Then she said I needed oxycodone for my chest pain, which I told her several times, 'I do NOT have pain!' I was very careful during my stay in the hospital and I only ate soup and fruit. A lot of people my age go in there and never come out. The conversations I had with the Divine Creator saved me."

"Finally, after leaving the hospital, a few days later my primary care physician said that if I had taken the oxycodone, at my age (80) and weight (very thin), that I would have probably died. (http://www.patmoorefoundation.com) Basically, these hospitals do what THEY want done."

"The worst part of the whole experience, besides the doctors trying to prescribe me medicine I didn't need, even according to their tests, was when they tried 10 times to draw blood from my hand. The medical students couldn't find a vein so they just kept poking me and poking me until I finally asked for their supervisor. The nurse then came into the room and said that the medical students 'have to practice on somebody!' -- then she just walked out of the room."

Just as a side note, one of the reported side effects of oxycodone: It can impair breathing without causing an allergic reaction. And this is most common with elderly patients and those with lung diseases or impairments like asthma!

Tell your story for the people who care

You can report elder abuse of this nature and help spare people like Mae from this type of tragedy. Although Mae escaped from the hospital (in Latin, hospital means "place to die"), many other healthy elderly folks are not so lucky. "Many seniors around the world are being abused: harmed in some substantial way often by people who are directly responsible for their care.

"In the U.S. alone, more than half a million reports of abuse against elderly Americans reach authorities every year, and millions more cases go unreported." (http://www.helpguide.org)
