History of medicine fact #30 - The Bush Administration pushed toxic food as plot to boost pharmaceutical dividends

(NaturalNews) Recent history definitely won't go down in the elementary or high school history books the way it really "went down," but as some of the best "continuing" education is trending towards on-line research, certain truths are finding a way of shining through all the muck. George W. Bush had a circle of advisors who lead an onslaught of food and medicine industry deregulation which left the American public diseased and dying from several new faceless poisons that won't be going away any time soon.
The "Super Sugar" High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS)
The evil, super-mega, jacked up, refined and highly processed sugar (from GMO corn) puts its avid consumers in the H.O.V. lane to obesity, diabetes, and cancer - and make no mistake, it's horrid "success" is all by design. Most of the sugar industry and "sweet product" manufacturers received Government subsidies to use this "super sugar" syrup in their products, which lowered production costs by more than half. Consumers gobbled it up as if it were the same natural cane sugar which had been used previously. The big health destruction surprise didn't take too long to rear its ugly head, and subsequently, the cancer and diabetes numbers skyrocketed.
The Bush Administration subsidized this GMO food devil not only for human consumption, but to serve as feed for livestock, which gives animals digestive and intestinal infections. The popular documentary "King Corn" revealed to an unsuspecting country and world that half of the corn grown in the U.S. is used for animal feed. Artificial Sweetener Disease
Big Pharma had been trying to legalize certain synthetic chemical sweeteners for the weight-conscious/diet crazed U.S. masses for years before Ronald Reagan took office. When Reagan won the Presidency in 1980 and was inaugurated, he immediately fired the head of the FDA and put in his "own guy," who came recommended highly by Donald Rumsfeld, former C.E.O. of Searle Pharmaceutical. You probably won't have to guess what was legal just days later - Aspartame! Then Sucralose and Sorbitol followed suit, and here we are, suffering from IBS, central nervous system disorders, migraine headaches and depression, and the prescription drugs to treat these ailments have side effects ten times as serious, and they're all marketed by you know who. Can you say stock options?
Aspartame is the technical name for different brand name toxins; NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, and Equal-Measure. Aspartame was discovered by accident in 1965 by a chemist named James Schlatter, who was working for none other than G.D. Searle.
Then, in 1985, after Aspartame was creating massive health problems for Americans, the evil GMO biotech company Monsanto purchased G.D. Searle. This was no coincidence or "conspiracy theory," this is corporate evil.
Currently, Aspartame accounts for three out of every four adverse reactions to food "additives" reported to the FDA. Reactions include migraine headaches, dizziness, seizures, nausea, numbness, muscle spasms, weight gain, rashes, depression, fatigue, irritability, tachycardia, insomnia, vision problems, hearing loss, heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, loss of taste, tinnitus, vertigo, memory loss, joint pain, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, mental retardation, lymphoma, birth defects, fibromyalgia, diabetes and yes, death! That's a lot of side effects for a FOOD ADDITIVE.
Watch for nicknames (A.K.A.'s) for Aspartame, mainly aspartic acid and acesulfame potassium. This synthetic monster Aspartame is one of the leading health criminals in the surge of prescription medication sales and profits in the U.S. of A.
Prescription Drugs
The top 10 U.S. pharmaceutical companies spend 85% of their money on advertising, and only about 15% on research and "safety" testing. The CEO's of these companies rank in the top 50 highest-paid persons in the country, averaging $15 billion a year, with up to five times that figure in stock options. Think about that for a minute. Who's profiting off your sickness?
Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, Rumsfeld conveniently led the military planning and execution of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, and the subsequent 2003 invasion of Iraq. But then, after figuring out Rumsfeld was a complete hack, eight retired Generals and Admirals called for Rumsfeld to resign in early 2006, in what was called the "Generals Revolt," accusing him of "abysmal" military planning and lack of strategic competence.
Unfortunately, it was too late. The damage was done, and it's still being done. Over 100,000 U.S. soldiers remain on antidepressants and sedatives today, and Rumsfeld and his sidekicks are billionaires. The wars in the Middle East are a modern day version of Vietnam, with soldiers being haphazardly dropped in the grinder and coming out suicidal, legless, or dead. Analysts and experts maintain that the duration of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are having a detrimental effect on the nation's military personnel.
There's also more proof in the pudding: In April 2000, Pharmacia & Upjohn completed a merger with Monsanto and Searle - creating a monstrous Pharmacia, a monopoly in the pharmaceutical industry. In August 2002, Pharmacia completed the spin-off of its agricultural subsidiary, Monsanto Company. Pfizer and Pharmacia Corporations began operating as a unified company in 2003, forging the world's most powerful toxic-medicine-creating and distributing giant ever. Bush created sickness dividends
"Fail safe" are the two words best used to describe the planned health detriment to American citizens and military, all in the name of padding pockets of politicians and their "constituents." Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and George W. Bush were like a tri-fecta team of mobsters, delving into medical and health corruption from A to Z. Do the research and the math yourself. Do you still think the Bush Administration had nothing to do with the whole 9/11 and post 9/11 war mongering, money machine? Insider trading is obviously not illegal if you are the President or part of his cabinet. If an organization could do a full audit of Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney's personal investments, overseas accounts, and TRUE TOTAL INCOME from 2000 to 2008, and then publish the results, the American public would fall out of their seats reading it. This toxic reign of terror was enough to drive up disease statistics for all four "American Diseases" to new heights -cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's and heart disease, feeding the "Toxic food and chronic care" scheme eight years of massive momentum.
