TSA now searching cars at airports

by Lance Johnson

(NaturalNews) How safe are airports, now that the TSA has guarded the gate for over a decade?

Since 2003, 400 known TSA agents have been fired for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of luggage. One TSA agent, who was convicted for stealing $800,000 worth of goods from travelers, said that airport security theft is "commonplace." Anything from clothing, to laptops, cameras, video games and cash are often stolen and X-ray scanners are the typical tool used to locate the most valuable items.

Mass theft

And the mass theft is happening at airports all over the country. Convictions range from the theft of eight iPads from Texas travelers to the theft of a $15,000 watch in Los Angeles. In New York, $40,000 in cash was stolen from a checked luggage and in one case, a TSA agent stuffed valuables in laptop sized compartments in his jacket. Most TSA thugs are caught and arrested selling the items on eBay or Craigslist, but who knows how many agents continue to get away with airport theft?

Health dangers

It seems Americans aren't really getting the security they are promised and they definitely aren't feeling too free, since passengers must sacrifice their health and livelihood to airport radiation scanners. Even the European Union governing body admits these radiation scanners are dangerous, effectively banning the use of X-ray body scanners in order to "not risk jeopardizing citizens' health and safety." The American people, however, are pushed through the lines like sheep, exposed to the radiation and the loss of liberty.

Personal privacy violations

But wait, the TSA gives passengers another option: If a health conscious person refuses the X-ray radiation, then they can submit themselves to a TSA patdown, where an agent of the same gender feels the passenger up, assaulting personal privacy rights. In doing so, all freedom is lost as passengers surrender with their hands up. All for security, though, right?

In the end, the concept of a TSA grossly violates the fourth amendment of the constitution, assaulting civil liberties without even mere suspicion of a wrongdoing. Everyone is treated as though they are guilty until proven innocent.

Illegal vehicle searches

The TSA doesn't stop there. Recently the TSA has been found searching through valet parked cars at the airport. One lady, Laurie Iacuzza, returned to her vehicle at the Greater Rochester International Airport, only to find a note that read, "Thank you for your patronage. Your vehicle has been inspected under TSA regulations."

"They never mentioned it to me when I booked the valet or when I picked up the car or when I dropped it off," said a furious Laurie Iacuzza.

Valet parking attendant Frank Dettorre responded to an interview with WHEC News 10, "You're required. They (the TSA) tell you, that you have to search the car. I had to do it."

The TSA agents at the Rochester airport said this is a proactive move, all part of their overall security plan.

The official TSA blog denied that their agents search valet parked vehicles.

"TSA officers are not inspecting cars or mandating that they be searched."

Even though the TSA doesn't actually conduct the searches, they order airport valet security to carry out the demand. Either way, the whole idea is grossly unconstitutional, a riveting abuse of civil liberties in a a country that continues to yawn and look the other way, ignoring the reality of what is actually taking place.

The abuses are telling, ranging from mass theft of passenger's luggage, to dangerous radiation exposure, to pat down molestation, all the way to illegally searched vehicles, without consent, probable cause, or a judge issued warrant.

The season is ripe to end the TSA once and for all.
