Amy's Kitchen organic food brand vindicated via support of GMO labeling Proposition 37

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

(NaturalNews) I'm happy to announce that the Amy's brand of organic foods is now vindicated thanks to the company's financial support for Proposition 37.

According to www.CArighttoknow.org Amy's has donated $100,000 to the effort to require labeling of GMOs. Not only that, but Amy's has put a "Label it!" message right on its home page at: http://www.amys.com

In addition, Amy's does not use genetically engineered ingredients in its foods. That means you can buy Amy's brand product with confidence, knowing you're not secretly ingesting GM corn, for example.

As a result of Amy's support for Prop 37, I encourage Natural News readers to once again support Amy's Kitchen and purchase their products.

Why is this even a question, you might ask?

Because seven years ago, I announced a boycott of Amy's Kitchen for a product they had at the time which contained a hidden source of MSG known as "yeast extract." Since that time, Amy's has honestly labeled their MSG-free products with the text message "NO MSG ADDED," and I have found this message to be accurate and reliable.

Amy's support of Proposition 37 indicated to me that this company was following a path of honest labeling of their food, and that's such a rare thing these days that I simply had to give Amy's a huge thumbs up for doing the right thing and taking a leadership position on this issue.

Because of this, I am once again an Amy's customer and even a fan of their company. Join me in helping support Amy's Kitchen by choosing their products at grocery stores and health food stores. As always, however, check labels for "yeast extract" and avoid that ingredient in ALL the foods you buy because it's a hidden source of MSG.
