Ron Paul, of course, is the original sponsor of the Health Freedom Protection Act which would restore the freedom for health product companies to tell the truth about the scientifically-validated benefits of their products. Currently, the FDA forbids truthful, scientifically-validated speech by nutritional product companies, herbal formula companies and others in the holistic health industry. This is a violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, of course, and it is contributing to the runaway degenerative disease in America today.
If the American people had access to more information about how superfoods, herbs, supplements and "alternative" treatments can prevent disease, reverse disease and help maintain optimum health, our nation would be healthier, happier and more financially solvent (a huge portion of our annual spending is wasted on disease management, not actual health care).
