Say no to GMOs by contributing to the Institute for Responsible Technology

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

(NaturalNews) Today I'm pledging $10,000 in matching donations to support the non-profit Institute for Responsible Technology. This is the non-profit that's standing up to Monsanto and the GMO industry by exposing the truth about the dangers of genetically engineered foods. Jeffrey Smith, who was recently featured in my "Just Say No to GMO" song, is the executive director of the IRT (www.ResponsibleTechnology.org)

If you haven't yet heard the Just Say No to GMO song or watched the music video, you can check it out here:

Today, I'm pledging $10,000 in matching donations, so for every dollar donated to the IRT by NaturalNews readers, I'll match it with another dollar from NaturalNews, up to $10,000. With your help, we can raise $20,000 or more to help support the IRT's crucial mission to halt the use of genetically modified foods in the food supply (or, at the very least, to require mandatory GMO labeling so that consumers can choose to avoid them).

We can win this fight!

The fight against GMOs is winnable! Virtually no one who becomes aware of the facts about GM foods thinks they should be allowed in the food supply without adequate human safety testing -- and such testing has never been done.

Almost everyone supports mandatory GMO labeling so that foods made with GMOs would be required to carry an accurate description of that fact on the label.

People are with us on this GMO issue, and thanks to the efforts of people like Jeffry Smith, we are very close to a tipping point where GMOs will no longer be accepted by consumers. To reach that tipping point, the IRT is planning on releasing a new documentary about GMOs, and NaturalNews (as well as other organizations) is joining in the campaign effort to publicize the video, cover the news and keep consumers informed about breaking news on the GMO front.

For example, we plan to feature video clips from the upcoming documentary on our video site www.NaturalNews.TV where you can already find interviews with Jeffrey Smith and other food experts. (You can also upload your own videos there, if you want. It's free to join.)

The IRT needs your help to fund the completion of this documentary and pursue other crucial projects. Our combined donations (yours and ours) can help them get this project completed and published so that potentially millions of new people will learn about the dangers of GMOs and join in the fight to ban them from the food supply.

Your donation can make a crucial difference right now on the front lines in this fight for food safety. So please join me in making a tax-deductible contribution right now:

Whatever amount you can donate will help: $10, $25, $50 or more.

Thank you for your support, and we will continue to do our best to bring you more articles, videos and other content about genetically modified foods and the dangers they pose to the world. With your support, we intend on winning this fight and eradicating GMOs from the food supply across the planet.
