Ecuador Photos Reveal Ancient Ruins of Rumicucho, Catequilla and the Palalahua Volcano Crater
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
(NaturalNews) Today Stan Grist and I headed into the mountains North of Quito, Ecuador to take photos as a preview for our upcoming Ancient Cities of the Sun Tour beginning June 19th. We visited the ancient sacred hilltop site known as Catequilla, which is, astonishingly, located precisely on the equator (a photo of my GPS reading shows you this).
Photos from Catequilla and other nearby sacred sites (see below) are now publicly available in my online photo tour: http://www.naturalnews.com/phototou...
From the top of Catequilla, you can look down upon Rumicucho, an ancient pre-Incan outpost that was later used by the Incas as a military post. This ancient outpost (also featured in the photos published here) is located 22.5 degrees to the North-Northwest of Catequilla -- making it one of several ancient sites placed on the planet in near-perfect alignment with the map lines found at the Catequilla monument. The significance of this alignment of sacred sites has not yet been realized (or even acknowledged) by traditional archeologists.

Living in the crater of an ancient volcano
From there, we visited the Pululahua crater, the largest volcanic crater in South America. It's so large, it has its own weather patterns and hundreds of farms have taken root in the rich soils inside the crater, producing abundant food for local families.
A Catholic mission once existed in the crater, and its inhabitants mined enormous quantities of alluvial gold from the crater walls!
On our upcoming tour, we'll be trekking down into the crater (and back up) -- an unforgettable experience that enfolds you in the powerful energies of Mother Nature.
From there, we proceeded to Rumicucho, the pre-Incan outpost that has just recently been partially excavated and restored. It overlooks two valleys north of Quito, making it the ideal defensive outpost for its inhabitants. There, Stan found painted pottery shards while we walked among the ancient rooms of what was once a thriving pre-Incan city. (The views were astonishing.)
Anti-gravity effects, sun dials and more...
Next, we ventured to the Museo de Sitio Intinan -- a fascinating museum located precisely on the equator. (Many visitors come to get their photos taken straddling the equator.) This place is more than just a museum, though: Its owner is into alternative science, and his museum offers several fascinating experiments directly on the equator that will leave you astonished.
In one head-scratching experiment, for example, a group of students nearly levitated a fellow student sitting directly on the equator. They held their hands over his head, meditated with intention, then lifted him effortlessly (to their great astonishment!). I captured this with my Canon camera, and you can see two pictures showing this in my photo tour here: http://www.naturalnews.com/phototou...
This effect was explained to me as an "anti-gravity" effect of the planetary energy lines that intersect at certain points along the equator. I didn't have time to experiment with this myself (a bathroom weighing scale might have been handy), so I can't say what's really happening here, but if you want to come try it yourself, join our Ancient Cities of the Sun tour and check it out in person! Water swirling direction is not a myth
At this museum, we also experimentally tested the "water swirling direction" question: Does water draining from a tub swirl opposite directions South of the equator vs. North of the equator?
According to the experiments I saw with my own eyes, yes it does! Using a simple wash basin and a bucket of water, we tested the water swirling direction just two meters south of the equator and found it to swirl in the opposite direction when using the same basin and the same water placed two meters north of the equator.
And to further test the effect, we placed the wash basin directly on the equator, and when we pulled the plug, the water drained straight down, with no swirling at all. If you want to see some of the photos I took during the experiment, check out the photo tour: http://www.naturalnews.com/phototou...
This just barely scratches the surface...
Keep in mind that everything you see in this photo tour was experienced in a single day near Quito. If you've already joined our June Ancient Cities of the Sun Tour, prepare to be astonished... because what you see here is just the tip of the iceberg. We have six amazing, action-packed days planned for you, bringing you a lifetime adventure you'll never forget!
If you're not yet on our tour, we have six seats remaining, and you can join this tour for $400 off the published price by reserving space for two or more people: http://www.truthpublishing.com/Anci... (the discount is automatically applied when you reserve two or more seats).
Bring a good camera and lots of open-mindedness, because you'll witness many new, mind-blowing phenomena that are simply not available to those who restrict their belief systems to "conventional" science... or archeology... or astronomy. In fact, this Ancient Cities of the Sun tour is based on astroarcheology -- the combined knowledge of modern astronomy, ancient astrology and Andean archeology. The result is a lifetime adventure into experiences and "alternative" realities you probably never imagined could exist.
Alignment of the sun and stars...
Did I mention we are heading into some of these ancient ruins precisely on the Summer Solstice? Those of you who know a bit about astronomy and ancient civilizations will immediately recognize the significance of this moment: It's an annual astrological transition that has been recognized and celebrated for many thousands of years by the Andean people, and on this Summer Solstice, Stan and myself, along with those who are joining us, will get to witness first-hand the spiritual celebrations performed at these ancient civilization sites by the indigenous people of the region.
This is not some canned Disney event: This is the real thing: Watching real, sacred ceremonies and celebrations carried out by people who live this lifestyle (they are not actors). Witnessing such events offers a glimpse into the realms of ancient Andean wisdom, where many valuable teachings can still be obtained.
Witnessing this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I don't know when Stan and I will have time to put on another tour like this. All the other tours to Ecuador (offered by tour companies) are the same old boring "mainstream" tours that don't dare take tourists off the beaten path. There is no other tour available anywhere that takes you into the heart of the Andean culture and invites you to delve into its most sacred mysteries.
I plan to publish pictures from this tour, but photos are no replacement for the experience of being there in person, where you can feel the energies yourself and see all this with your own eyes.
If you can't make the June tour but you'd love to join us at some future date, email us at vilcaland@gmail.com with your proposed future date. I can't say if we'll schedule another tour like this, but if there's enough interest, we will certainly do our best to put one together for you later this year.
Ecuador, the country of mystery and magic
By the way, I have to add that Ecuador is a magical, mystical place that's full of secrets just waiting to be explored. Moving to Ecuador is the best decision I've ever made, and it has opened up a whole universe of new possibilities for personal life experience.
Ecuador isn't for everyone, though: The mere experience of being here is highly unpredictable. It requires flexibility, patience and determination. Yet the rewards are incredible: Abundant living, rich natural wonders and unlimited opportunities for enormous mind expansion.
I've come to learn that Ecuador multiplies your experience in both good and bad ways. Negative energy gets multiplied here as well as positive energies, and the land itself seems to bring out the extremes in people. This is yet another powerful reminder of the importance of keeping our intentions positive, even in the face of obstacles.
Come to Ecuador yourself and you'll see what I mean. You'll likely have the best experiences of your life... interspersed with brief moments of ridiculous frustration. Such is the nature of land where powerful energies are constantly in motion -- and most of us have yet to learn the true power of our unleashed intentions. In this way, Ecuador can be a great teacher, because it quickly shows us the evidence of our co-creations, either positive or negative.
