Doctor says herbal medicine can treat diabetes and typhoid fever

Dr. Kwaku Adomako of Osene Adikanfo faith herbal centre has been critical of Ghana's Ministry of Health for not exploring herbal medicine options to deal with some of the ailments beleaguering his country.



The Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Services has been challenged to liaise effectively with herbalist to find a lasting cure for diseases such as typhoid fever, diabetes and low sperm count. According to a renowned herbalist Dr Kwaku Adomako of Osene Adikanfo faith herbal centre who threw the challenged in an interview with Kessben news, the above diseases are properly cured with herbal medicine instead of the orthodox medicine. He said because the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Services have failed to link up with herbalists in the country, the potency of herbal drugs have not been realized to the fullest. Dr Kwaku Adomako who is of the view that herbal medicine in the country has a great future, tasked herbalists to introduced strategies of offering discount and free medical care at special times to people seeking treatment.
