According to the Salt Lake Community College Globe, a University of Maryland at College Park study found that consuming energy drinks with high levels of caffeine -- like Adrenaline, Red Bull and Venom -- can have serious short-term and long-term health effects like irregular heart rate and increased blood pressure.
