South Bend residents fight identity theft with the Great Shred Event

- "I brought five bags of papers from 1947, (which included) income tax papers, all kinds of souvenir papers," said Sandra Lynch, who was just one the many who came out to shred potential identity theft documents.
- "It's time to get rid of all this stuff in my garage."
- At one point Saturday morning, the line of cars stretched down Dorr Road onto State Road 933.
