Pranic healing reenergizes body
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
Pranic healing is an alternative healing method that uses energy-based techniques to "balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes," and people who do pranic healing will scan a person's "health aura," or their invisible energy field, for blockages before cleansing and reenergizing the area.
Quincyans Rose Amen and Rose Ann Liesen are grateful they found one another.
Amen, a massage therapist, has helped Liesen gain back mobility in her shoulder after being hurt in a car accident in February.
In return, Liesen has helped keep Amen energized with pranic healing techniques.
According to the Web site pranichealing.com, it is a no-touch system of energy-based techniques that use "prana" --- a Sanskrit word that means life force --- to balance, harmonize and transform the body's energy processes.
People like Liesen who do "energy work" say they can activate a person's chakras, which are like power plants that supply the body with energy.
Sitting several feet from a client, Liesen says she scans an invisible energy field known as the health aura to locate blockages and then cleanse, energize and revitalize the area.
"I work on the chakras to help people from getting ill, as well as to help people with cancer, depression and all kinds of illnesses," Liesen said.
For example, Liesen did energy work on her husband when he was told he needed open heart surgery.
It was no substitute for surgery, but the time he spent in the operating room was shorter than expected, as was his overall recovery.
Liesen says pranic healing can be particularly beneficial to doctors, nurses, massage therapists and other caregivers who "give away their good energy" to help others heal.
She worked in an office environment for years and decided she wanted to do something to help others.
She says therapeutic massage has multiple benefits --- from stress relief to improved range of motion and relief of muscle tension and soreness.
I hope to eventually see that here in the Midwest."
