More Americans turn to alternative medicine

An increasing number of Americans are experimenting with complementary and alternative medicine therapies, such as meditation, acupuncture and herbal supplements, as a way of promoting mind and body health, with at least 36 percent of American adults trying some form of alternative medicine in 2002, according to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study.
