Weight loss expert offers flab-fighting deck of cards

According to Herts 24, Linda Wood, a British holistic therapist who runs a weight loss clinic focusing on the disciplines of reiki, reflexology, massage and hypnotherapy in Welwyn, England, recently authored a deck of cards that promote weight loss with coaching tasks and tips of what works and what doesn't, as well as messages of affirmation.
Linda Wood, a slimming coach and holistic therapist, runs her own business in Welwyn called Core Connections and practices the disciplines of reiki, reflexology, massage and hypnotherapy.
She has appeared as an expert on ITV's The Trisha Show and is the author of A Helping Hand, a weight loss card deck.
Oaklands resident Linda, 39, said: "I had my own weight problem 22 years ago.
"After lots of experimenting and getting it wrong, I found a way to shift the weight without the struggle and have maintained it ever since."
Slim for Life is a one-month intensive coaching programme for weight loss.
It includes four coaching sessions, telephone coaching, self-hypnosis training and support materials and costs �120.
The programme starts in Welwyn on Monday, at 7.30pm and will include a free copy of A Helping Hand when you join.
Linda said individuals and groups will learn the most successful slimming strategies including how to tackle your own personal pitfalls.

The cards draw on Linda's own experience and learning, and they have coaching tasks and tips of what works and what does not.
The deck also has 'affirmation cards' in them packed with positive messages.
The idea is to repeat the affirmation frequently until you begin to take on that belief.
