A new drug known as donepezil, when taken in time, may help delay the onset of Alzheimer's disease by at least a year, a new clinical study says. When patients notice their memory is slightly faltering, see their doctor, and then begin taking the drug, it appears they may be able to delay symptoms of full blown Alzheimer's disease for a year, the researchers found.
