The Boston Globe's circulation declines as New York Times pulls in more readers

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

The Fas-Fax report, which tracks circulation numbers in the newspaper industry has some statistics that reveal declining circulation for several newspapers. The Boston Globe, for instance, has experienced a 3.7 percent decline in daily circulation and a 2.1 percent decline in Sunday sales. The Globe says that the problems arise from bad weather, an influx of immigrants, and a general move away from traditional news outlets.

The New York Times, however, has experienced a surge in circulation, with a .2 percent increase in both daily and Sunday readers. Though circulation has dropped 2 percent in New York, the paper had an overall increase of 2 percent nationally.
