Democrats in the Michigan State House want to repeal current state laws that protect drug companies from liability lawsuits if their products are approved by federal regulators. The legislators have proposed laws that will make it easier for consumers to sue the drug makers. "When it comes to protecting consumers from the drug industry, we're dead last," one Democrat said of his state with its current laws.
