Increased deductibles and co-payments are pushing employees toward lower cost health insurance plans

As corporate health insurance policies pass more and more of the cost of care to employees, many people want cheaper health care programs, even if they are less flexible. By reducing a person's choices of doctors and hospitals, these less flexible policies are often less expensive up front, and often reduce the co-payments and deductibles passed on to employees. These limited policies are especially popular among those with lower incomes.
