Memory difficulties may be sign Alzheimer's is approaching, new research says

Difficulty in forming new memories has long been thought to be a normal consequence of aging. But now new research from Rush University in Chicago says it may be a sign that Alzheimer's disease is on its way. The report says this new finding may increase by 100 percent the number of people who could be diagnosed with Alzheimer's. They stress, however, that not everyone who has memory loss will develop Alzheimer's.
