Telecommuting booming in popularity, expanding into top jobs

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

Telecommuting has long been a dream of many American workers -- to stay at home and still get a paycheck. The dream is becoming reality for more and more employees, with the total number of teleworkers increasing to 44.4 million in 2004, a 7.5 jump over the previous year. Increasing numbers of telecommuters are higher-end executives and managers, a change from earlier years when it was primarily low-level workers who were able to fulfill their responsibilities from home.
