Ritalin, Dexedrine becoming mainstream "study drugs" among college students in British Columbia

For some time, college students across the U.S. and on the East Coast of Canada have been turning to the drugs Ritalin and Dexedrine to help them stay awake for all night study sessions. Now, the trend has made its way west to British Columbia. Sales of the drugs in Victoria have increased, and one student says they are a must for anyone hoping to keep a scholarship or get into graduate school.
- A year ago, David Green, a student at Harvard University, famously told the Washington Post: "In all honesty, I haven't written a paper without Ritalin since my junior year in high school."
