Intel and Qinetiq build new transistor that is faster than silicon while using less power

by Mike Adams, NaturalNews Editor

Microprocessor giant Intel has collaborated with Qinetiq to create a new transistor that works faster than the older silicon transistors, while using about one-tenth of the power. By using indium antimonide instead of silicon, this new transistor is more powerful and less power-hungry than current transistors, allowing computers to be both faster and more energy efficient.
