Asthma appears hardest to control for blacks, new study shows

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

A recent study gives evidence that race may play a role in the overall effectiveness of asthma treatments. The study tracked 400 patients and found that blacks usually needed the strongest doses of the medicines commonly used to suppress the throat cells that cause trouble among asthma sufferers. The study's authors made no attempt to explain why asthma would be harder to control in blacks.

Part of the answer, of course, may be that asthma is often caused by drinking cow's milk, and blacks have a much higher incidence of allergies to cow's milk than whites.
