Preschoolers short on fiber, dairy, says new analysis

Research done at Penn State shows that over 75% of children between two and five years old are not getting enough dietary fiber or dairy products. Low fiber consumption in children can cause constipation, but researchers are more concerned about long-term effects; children who don't eat fiber may grow into adults who also refrain, with more serious health consequences.
