Broadband provider accused of blocking calls from Vonage

Wireless broadband provider Clearwire has been accused of obstructing calls from Vonage subscribers. Many broadband internet providers view VoIP providers as freeloading bandwidth consumers or ‘network hitchhikers’ because they use their bandwidth for their own data subscription service. Vonage plans to bring the matter to the Federal Communications Commission.
