FDA okays treating underarm sweating with injection of toxins

In yet another case of covering up the symptoms rather than treating the cause, the FDA has given the okay for health providers to use botox injections to alleviate excessive underarm sweating. The problem with this, of course, is that injecting botox merely covers up the symptoms, but does nothing to treat the underlying disorder.

But that's characteristic of modern medicine: treat the symptoms, ignore the cause.
