A company in Idaho has created a new, more efficient method for extracting hydrogen from water. By creating steam, then zapping it with electricity and running the resulting gasses through a thin ceramic membrane, hydrogen can be captured and used to create power. However, the company has only done it on a small scale so far and they want to build a nuclear power plant to produce the electricity they need.
