Dept. of Commerce prescription drug pricing ripoff explanation isn't genuine, says Davis
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
A Dept. of Commerce employee denies serving as source for prescription drug pricing information! Sharon Davis has contacted Truth Publishing and claims to have never issued the information now circulating around the Internet showing insane markups for prescription drug prices. Responding to all the calls and emails about this issue has been an "absolute nightmare!"
Of course, even though Sharon Davis explains that she's not the source for this information, the basic premise of it is absolutely true: prescription drugs are marketed and sold at prices that represent 10,000%+ markups over the cost of their raw ingredients. Pharmaceuticals are tremendously profitable.
Hopefully we'll soon see a cost study on this issue than its author will stand behind. If such a study appears, you'll see it here.
