If all goes as planned, the only oil in Iceland by 2050 will be in planes that land, from other countries, at the Reykjavik airport. The Northern Atlantic island national is a world leader in developing hydrogen power as an alternative to fossil fuels. Many cars, trucks, buses and ships have already made the conversion to hydrogen-based fuel.
