Cancer-causing artificial food colors found in food products sold in Canada

Canadian authorities are warning the public to avoid purchasing food products that have been found to contain alarming levels of highly carconigenic artificial food colors. The U.S., meanwhile, pretends that highly carcinogenic artificial food colors are completely safe...
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is
warning consumers not to consume the certain food products identified
below.
These products contain, a non-permitted colour, Sudan I, which is
considered to be carcinogenic.
It has been shown to cause cancer in laboratory animals and these
findings could also be significant for human health.
The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall and continuing
a food safety investigation.
