Can-Spam bill means you can spam everybody once

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

Talk about politicians spinning their wheels... in one vote, they've managed to pass two useless anti-spam laws at the same time. That's right: two at once. First, there's the original Can-Spam bill, which basically says that any business can spam everybody until they opt out. And secondly, there's the useless do-not-email list idea which even the FTC says is a worthless idea that can't be enforced.

So another year goes by, and now we have anti-spam legislation that's finally passed the Senate. Yet the spam hasn't dwindled even a bit.

Analysis: The American public, it seems, just wants SOMEBODY to do SOMETHING about spam.

I keep saying (in jest, of course) that all we need to do is label spammers terrorists, and then we can use all those anti-terrorism laws againt 'em. Plus, each time another spammer is nailed, the feds can announce they've captured even MORE terrorists! We can put them all on a small tropical island that has no Internet access and watch them try to scam each other out of coconuts.
