NASA Finds More Evidence Of Life On Mars, But The Public Isn't Ready
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
It's official: there's evidence of water on Mars. Of course, this is
hardly news to people who have been reviewing photos from Mars over the
years: there are all sorts of photos, released by NASA, that seem to
show evidence of rivers, streams, water channels and even sea shells and
worms. You can see them yourself at yahooBuzzArticleHeadline = "{Title}";yahooBuzzArticleCategory = "health";yahooBuzzArticleType = "text";yahooBuzzArticleId = window.location.href; |
- PASADENA, California -- Evidence that suggests Mars was once a
water-rich world is mounting as scientists scrutinize data from the Mars
Exploration rover, Opportunity, busily at work in a small crater at
Meridiani Planum.
- Using an array of tools carried by the golf cart-sized robot -- from
spectrometers, a rock grinder, cameras and powerful microscopic imager
-- scientists are carefully piecing together a compelling historical
portrait of a wet and wild world.
- There is speculation that the soil underneath the wheels of both
Spirit and Opportunity rovers contains small amounts of water mixed with
salt in a brine.
- One scientist eagerly awaiting the news from Mars, particularly from
Opportunity, is Gilbert Levin.
