Jokes aren't allowed at airport security checkpoints, but air security
is a joke to begin with
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
It's hilarious seeing air security officials taking their jobs so
seriously when practically anyone can simply walk through
security with bomb-making materials and place them on multiple
planes with no questions asked whatsoever. Don't believe me? A college
student already achieved it here in the U.S. -- and he even emailed the
TSA and told them what he was going to do! If that's not enough, another
FAA audit reveals that 30% of FAA investigators, disguised as civilians,
were able to sneak handguns right onto airplanes in the nation's largest
airports. The truth is, airport security is the real joke here. And
despite the TSA's best efforts to arrest people who joke about bombs in
their carry on bags, the truth is that a terrorist actually carrying a
bomb would never make such a statement. As a result, they're arresting
all the wrong people (and annoying everybody else).
- Samantha Marson was released on Wednesday after a visit by British
consular officials and payment of a bond of $5,000 (£2,700).
- BBC correspondent Jeremy Cooke, in Miami, said Miss Marson was
"clearly delighted" to have been released.
- Later it emerged that Virgin chairman Sir Richard Branson had also
offered to help Miss Marson - whether financially or with airline
tickets - after hearing of her jailing.
- According to the arrest report, Miss Marson placed her bag on the belt
at a security check, telling a Transportation Security Administration
screener: "Hey be careful, I have three bombs in here" - before
allegedly repeating the joke twice more when confronted by officials.
