In all respects his drawing was accurate, save one: he insisted that the site housed some sort of water purification plant. He even drew rotating devices into his drawings of the pools and added two water tanks on site.
For several years, Hal and Russell had just assumed that Pat had got this one wrong. Too much noise to signal is how they usually phrased it. There was no water purification system there, and there certainly weren't any water tanks. |

One of the most astonishing aspects of the data amassed by Puthoff, Jahn and the other scientists is that they hadn't been at all sensitive to distance. A person doesn't have to be in close proximity to affect a REG machine. In at least a quarter of Jahn's studies, the participants were anywhere from next door to thousands of miles away. |

Water Purification Units
GRANULATED ACTIVATED CARBON
These units tend to be small and attach to the faucet head. Carbon has been used for centuries as a filtering substance. Activated carbon is specially treated carbon designed to increase the absorptive surface area. Impurities are bound by the carbon as the water passes through. |

CHAPTER NINE
HOW TO REDUCE INTESTINAL TOXINS FROM DRUGS AND STRESS
Take a few minutes to consider the following scenario: Ms. Jones has been experiencing chronic headaches for weeks. She visits her doctor (a trained professional) for help in getting rid of her pounding pain. "Doctor, I've had a headache for a long time now. It's wearing me down!" "No, problem, Ms. Jones. We'll get you fixed up" he replies. Five minutes later, Ms. Jones walks out of the exam room with apiece of barely legible paper in hand. |

It is highly recommended that you use a water purification system not only on your drinking water tap, but for the whole house, and if out to eat, avoid drinking restaurant tap water.
Were chlorine and fluoride the only chemicals we had to worry about, that would be bad enough. But as discussed, food manufacturers and the chemical companies have decided to add thousands of synthetic chemicals to our food and beverages in the form of preservatives, dyes, flavorings, flavor enhancers, stabilizers and artificial sweeteners. You truly do not know what you are eating. |

| This is significant since carbon filters are the most popular water purification units sold. To determine the safety of your tap or well water, contact your local water company. Most cities have a quality assurance program that performs routine analyses. Simply ask for the most recent analysis. There are also private water-testing companies that will test your water for a fee. Once you have your water analyzed and determine the predominant toxin, if any, you can make an informed decision about the water purification unit that's right for you. |

Then, in early 1975, Russell received an Annual Report of the City of Palo Alto, a celebration of its centennial, containing some of the city's highlights over the last century. While flicking through it, Targ was flabbergasted to read: 'In 1913 a new municipal waterworks was built on the site of the present Rinconada Park.' It also included a photo of the site, which clearly showed two tanks. |

In the nineteenth century, there were no dramatic changes in working-class living conditions, but there were advances in water purification and sewage control. Beginning in 1900, there were great improvements in food hygiene, especially in the quality of milk. Pasteurization (after
1890), as well as the bottling and safe transport of milk, reduced significantly the incidence of gastroenteritis in infants and children. |

One of the biggest stumbling blocks for aid workers is finding a consistent, reliable source of power in places where power lines and stations have been destroyed —or places where there was no energy infrastructure to begin with. And think about this: Since the water purification plants can't remove these synthetic toxins, the beverage industry, which uses tap water to create beverages in this country -- the soft drinks and the beers -- are simply recycling many of these toxins along with chlorine and fluoride into synergistic combinations that no one has even begun to test the problems with.
Mike: Wow.
Fitzgerald: Third point. To the extent that chemicals are tested for safety at all, they are only tested individually and it gets back to the earlier point I made about synergies. |

This is the mystery of the mikvah water purification ceremony which usually takes place in a cosmic womb - a sacred pool of running water or a clean stream. Kabbalists have used this ceremony for thousands of years. It connects us to the force of all natural waters and all mikvahs on the planet. In more modern times it was made famous by the Essene John the Baptist, in the River Jordan (we have actually done a mikvah in the River Jordan on our Essene Odyssey Tours). |

The second point, as I indicated earlier with you, is that wastewater treatment and water purification plants are supposed to filter out chemical toxins. We now know these plants are not technologically sophisticated enough to remove most of the synthetic chemicals that show up in our foods, our medicines and our consumer products. A U.S. geological survey has done testing of ground water throughout the Western states, and found Ritalin, Prozac and other pharmaceutical drugs along with industrial chemicals; chemicals from personal care products. |

BEV water purification Works on household water pressure, does not use electricity, and has no boi ler element requiring cleaning. BEV has eight fi Iter stages: a 5 micron Carbon prefilter ridding sediment; a Copper-Zinc redox medium that neutralizes chlorine; a high grade filter for odors, tastes and chlorine; an ultra-fine .000,000,2 filter; a reverse osmosis (self-cleaning) filter removing all dissolved solids and fluoride; a prolonged contact Carbon filter; a de-ionization microclean filter; and a special high-grade Carbon filter to polish the water. |

Only these two methods of water purification can remove fluoride. If you decide on reverse osmosis, you will have to change the filter every three months, because the fluoride eats little holes in the filter, destroying its effectiveness. After you filter your water through the reverse osmosis filter you will also need to filter it once again through a regular filter. Isn't it nice that the government has made you go to all this trouble and expense just to have a drink of pure water?
Several studies have found that adults just don't drink enough water. |

We are recycling, through our drinking water and through many of the foods we eat, these chemical toxins into our body. The water purification plants, much like the wastewater treatment plants, are not technologically sophisticated enough to remove these synthetic chemicals. We are recycling them in ever-greater quantities through our bodies and through nature, because more than 1,000 new synthetic chemicals are being created and introduced into the marketplace every year. Not only that, but more than 100,000 synthetic chemicals are already in wide use in the marketplace. |

Protein
4
The word "protein" is derived from the Greek proteios, or "primary." The name is fitting as, after water, protein is most plentiful component of our body. The body manufactures proteins to make up hair, muscles, nails, tendons, ligaments, and other body structures. Proteins also function as enzymes, hormones, and important components of other cells, such as our genes. The human body contains somewhere between 30,000 and 50,000 unique proteins. |

• Nausea and vomiting
• Loud gurgling noises in the abdomen
• Abdominal cramps
• Diarrhea beginning 12 to 72 hours after ingesting the contaminated water or food
Parasitic Infections
Giardia is the most common example. This parasite is transmitted through the fecal-oral route, mainly through water contamination. In most cases there are no symptoms, and symptoms usually take one to three weeks after exposure to appear. |

Chelation Therapy
Chelation is a chemical process that has applications in many areas, including medical treatment, environmental site rehabilitation, water purification, and so forth. In the medical environment, chelation is used to treat cardiovascular disease, heavy metal toxicity, and to remove metals that accumulate in body tissues because of genetic disorders (hemochromatosis). This protocol will address the use of chelation therapy for the removal of heavy metals as a result of ingested or environmental exposure. |

Lack of exercise is one of the primary causes of osteoporosis. Using your bones keeps them strong and healthy. Weight-bearing exercise is the only thing besides progesterone found to actually increase bone density in older women. Weight-bearing means exercise that uses your bones to support the weight of your body. Brisk walking counts as weight-bearing exercise, but add some light hand-held weights and it's even better. |

5. Buy and use a shower filter.
You absorb more toxins by taking one shower than by drinking eight glasses of water. Your skin absorbs the water from your shower or bath. A hot shower produces steam and that turns many of the chemicals in the water into poisonous gases. These gases are inhaled or absorbed through the skin. A good shower filter removes most of the toxins in the water. Use one and you'll never have a bad hair day again. |
