After cancer treatments nearly kill them, they reach out for alternatives
When cancer patients finally make that decision to embrace alternative medicine, they often do so in a near-death state because they have been so utterly harmed by the treatments espoused by conventional, Western medicine. Then, even more frustratingly, they begin to take a few herbs or experience some kind of alternative treatment and end up dying from organ failure caused by the toxic chemotherapy given to them by their conventional medical doctors. That is why I tell people you have to make a choice sooner. |

In other words, it's a good bet that your doctor—upon whom you rely for health information—knows no more about natural treatments or nutritional medicine than you do.
But that's not the problem.
The problem is that he thinks he does. Friends of mine have gone to their doctors to ask about supplements I've recommended, and
"Any secretary who's been on a diet knows as much about nutrition as the average doctor in this country."

Marshals are routinely recruited by conventional medicine "enforcers" to terrorize selected targets in order to send a message to the rest of the population that they must submit to the treatments of conventional medicine, even when such treatments are provably harmful to patients or based on fraudulent science and deceptive marketing claims.
The tactics of such campaigns mirror those of terrorist cells, which rely on violence or the threat of violence to achieve a political goal. |
| Gunpoint medicine
This incident is the latest example of state-sponsored medical terrorism where parents who do not submit to narrowly-defined "treatments" promoted by conventional medicine are branded as criminals, arrested at gunpoint, jailed and forcibly separated from their children by Child Protective Services. A previous case of medical terrorism involved a Texas teenager who was kidnapped by authorities and forced to undergo toxic chemotherapy treatments that her parents desperately insisted on avoiding. |

By now I hope you realize that any of these treatments can be combined with supplements and healing foods for even more dramatic results.)
Some nutrients have so many uses that I simply could not choose one specific condition to attach them to. Their health benefits are so broad, so helpful for multiple conditions, or so essential for dozens of metabolic processes that I decided to give them their own special category.
Desert Island Cures: These are the supplements I'd like to have with me on a desert island. |
| So why, you might ask, doesn't my doctor know about these treatments?
Ah, grasshopper, that is an excellent question.
To understand why this information is buried or discounted or simply ignored, you have to understand just a bit about the nature of medicine in the United States today, a subject I'm all too happy to discuss with you. Of course, if you could care less and would prefer to move on to the "good" parts, that's fine, too. But if you're interested in why so much of this information doesn't reach your doctor or—if it does—why he tends not to pay much attention, then read on. |

As with shin splints, a poultice of arnica flowers with about 1 tsp of rue oil added can also be used in between ice treatments. Create a poultice by infusing 2-3 g of the whole plant or flower heads in 150 ml of hot water for 15 minutes. Place gauze or bandages in the infusion and wrap the injured area. For additional benefit, add a few drops each of wintergreen and peppermint essential oils to the arnica and rue. |

No, in that narrow sense, the treatments and prescriptions in this book are not technically "cures." But they sure are powerful helpmates on your road to health. And they may feel like lifesavers to a lot of people. For everyone else, they will get you healthier, and they will make a difference.
And I'm pretty sure that, for some folks, they will make all the difference in the world.
WHY THIS BOOK IS DIFFERENT
If there's one thing that sets The Most Effective Natural Cures on Earth apart from the spate of other "natural cure" books it's this: research. Let me explain. |

Topical treatments: Tea tree oil is an effective antibacterial agent. Apply the oil as a cream or 10-15 drops diluted in Vi oz of water two to three times a day. Oregano oil can also be used topically for its strong antibacterial effects. Use the oil directly once or twice a day.
Supplements: Take 3,000 mg of vitamin C with bioflavanoids a day—1,500 mg in the morning and 1,500 mg in the evening. These two nutrients work synergistically to support the immune system and reduce skin inflammation. Take 30 mg of zinc twice a day to support skin function and the immune system. |
| Your herbalism practitioner should make sure that there is not a particular fungal infection from Tinea capitis present, which can appear like cradle cap in some infants and children and for which there are other more appropriate treatments.
Burdock root: Make a poultice by macerating the burdock root and applying it directly to the skin. This can calm inflammation and promote healing.
Plantain leaf: A salve of plantain leaf, available at local health food stores, is healing and soothing when used topically. |
| Sometimes a number of treatments are required to obtain the best result.
Willow: The bark of this tree is popular for its pain-relieving qualities, and the same constituent responsible for the pain relief also dissolves skin growths. Boil 25-30 g of dried willow bark in strips or chunks in 4 cups of water for 10 minutes, making sure that the water does not evaporate and leave the pan dry. Once it has cooled, apply it to the corn, holding the willow in place with a cloth or gauze for 10 minutes several times a day. |

Like most treatments for depression, it takes a while to work. The PDR recommends that you try it for four to six weeks; if no improvement is apparent, try something different.
The best preparation seems to be the St. John's Wort extract standardized to contain 0.3 percent hypericin, and the recommended dosage of this as an antidepressant is 300 mg, taken three times a day, close to meals. You can also drink it as a tea (boiling water poured onto one to two teaspoons of the dried herb, infused for 10-15 minutes).

If the sessions are spread out, they will not be as effective because the corns can regain their strength in the interval between treatments. If there is no improvement after four to six sessions, it is not necessary to continue long-term treatment. Also, if you are feeling tired or under the weather, you should avoid this treatment.
Moxibustion: The practitioner will place and ignite a small Moxa cone (about the size of a grain of rice) on the top of the corn or callus. When the cone burns to near the bottom
43 it will be removed and extinguished. The whole procedure uses three to six cones. |
| It is best to combine treatments with herbs and/or dietary therapy. For chronic dermatitis, have acupuncture treatment once a week, or two to three times a week for acute dermatitis.
Acupressure: Press the Feng Chi point, located 2 inches from the center point of the base of the skull at the back of the head with your thumbs, using gentle pressure, for one minute. Close your eyes and press the temple points with your thumbs for one minute. Press the Hegu point (in between the index finger and thumb) for two minutes with your thumb once or twice a day. |

Even seeing a conventional oncologist to discuss your cancer test results is in itself extremely harmful because they brainwash you into thinking you won't live more than six months (for example) unless you submit to their extremely toxic and sometimes deadly treatments.
That is why I strongly encourage people to avoid any interaction whatsoever with conventional cancer doctors, because they can actually worsen your outcome simply by telling you that you only have three months to live. The mind controls the body. |

Prescription treatments in detoxification centers may begin with an injection of vitamin Bi (page 597) in cases that involve malnutrition. In treating severe acute withdrawal symptoms, a nervous system depressant, such as the benzodiazepines such as diazepam (Valium) and lorazepam (Ativan), is prescribed with a dosage that is tapered down over three to five days. The beta-adrenergic blocking drugs atenolol (Tenormin) and propranolol (Inderal) are also occasionally used.
Further treatment includes adequate nutrition, fluid intake, and rest. |
| Prescription treatments include antihistamines, such as fexofenadine (Allegra), cetirizine (Zyrtec), anddeslo-ratadine (Clarinex); bronchodilators, such as albuterol (Proventil, Ventolin); nasal corticosteroids, such as fluticasone (Flonase), triamcinolone (Nasacort AQ), mometasone (Nasonex), and flunisolide (Nasalide); and weekly allergy shots (desensitization immunotherapy). Individuals who have experienced severe allergic reactions should carry an auto-injector syringe of epinephrine (EpiPen) for use during an attack. |
| Smoking has also been shown to reduce the effectiveness of treatments for angina.2 Secondhand smoke should be avoided as well.3
Increasing physical exercise has been clearly demonstrated to reduce symptoms of angina, as well as to relieve its underlying causes. One study found that intense exercise for ten minutes daily was as effective as beta-blocker drugs in a group of patients with angina.4 Anyone with angina or any other heart condition, as well as anyone over the age of 40, should consult a doctor before beginning an exercise program. |
| In one small, preliminary trial,31 ten 70-minute treatments over two weeks brought relief in most of the participants; headaches did not recur for 1 to 31 days after the end of treatment in those who responded. In another preliminary trial, chronic cluster headache patients received 15 hyperbaric oxygen treatment sessions (every other day for 30 minutes each); results showed a gradual decrease in episodes in some patients, which lasted for up to two weeks after treatment ended. |
| Although there was no additional benefit of chiropractic compared to the sham treatments, it is possible that improvements in both groups were real, rather than placebo effects. The sham therapy, which consisted of "soft tissue massage and gentle palpation [touching]," may have had real effects. More research is needed to address this confusing issue.
Atherosclerosis is hardening of the arteries, a common disease of the major blood vessels characterized by fatty streaks along the vessel walls and by deposits of cholesterol and calcium. |
| Furthermore, none of this information should be misconstrued to suggest that dietary or herbal supplements can or should be used in place of conventional anticancer approaches or treatments.
It should be noted that certain studies referenced below, indicating the potential usefulness of a particular dietary ingredient or dietary or herbal supplement in connection with the reduction of risk of breast cancer, are preliminary evidence only. Some studies suggest an association between high blood or dietary levels of a particular dietary ingredient with a reduced risk of developing breast cancer. |

I write about in this book.
"One-third of the people I treat with natural medicine [like diet and supplements] will get 100 percent better—effectively cured," he told me. "One-third will improve considerably—they may be able to go off meds, or reduce meds substantially, or their symptoms will lessen, or they'll have measurably less pain and suffering. And one-third, unfortunately, won't be helped very much at all."
I agree with this, but I'd go one step further. |

Aloe vera heals radiation burns from radiation cancer treatments
For those cancer treatment victims who have been maimed by radiotherapy treatments (which don't cure cancer, by the way: the treatments are largely a medical hoax), applying aloe vera topically to the radiation area will rapidly accelerate the healing response. Consuming aloe vera internally will also help heal radiation burns. Of course, it's smarter to avoid radiation in the first place, since the procedure actually causes cancer just like mammograms do. |

Chemotherapy is not a cure for cancer, nor is radiation, because both of those treatments actually cause cancer.
When you poison the immune system and irradiate tissues, you create physical imbalances which in turn can create cancer. This is the simple reason why so many people who subject themselves to conventional cancer treatments find themselves battling recurring cancer years later.
Where to start with curing cancer
The bottom line is that conventional cancer treatments are a sham and they do nothing to help the patient overcome the causes of cancer. |
