TAPPING INTO SPRING WATER
All "spring water" must, under truth-in-labeling laws, come from a spring (Deer Park 100% spring water, Evian Natural spring water). It may already be carbonated, as is the case with Vittelloise Natural spring water, or have carbonation added, which is what Deer Park Sparkling 100% spring water does.
The word natural implies that the water has not been processed in any way before bottling, whereas plain "spring water" may or may not go right into the bottle. |

Natural Spring Water
The term natural spring water on a bottled water label doesn't tell you where the water came from, only that the mineral content of the water has not been altered. It may or may not have been filtered or otherwise treated. While the number of gallons of "natural spring water" flowing through watercoolers and from bottles has more than doubled in recent years, the meaning of these words on a label has been firmly defined only since the final changes in the FDA bottled drinking water regulations have been in place. |

That's the image created by Pepsico's Aquafina brand of water, and many consumers leap to the incorrect conclusion that Aquafina is sourced from mountain spring water.
In reality, Aquafina comes from tap water. Yes, the same water you get when you turn on your kitchen faucet. Of course, Aquafina is filtered, purified and perhaps even enhanced with trace amounts of added minerals, but it's certainly not mountain spring water. It's just processed tap water -- the same stuff that fills your toilet bowl when you flush. |

Bach flower remedies are prepared from mother tinctures which are themselves made from plant material and natural spring water using either an infusion ('sun') method or a 'boiling' method (Kayne 2002). The infusion method is used to prepare mother tinctures for 20 of the Bach remedies: flower heads from the appropriate plant are added to a glass vessel containing natural spring water and are left to stand in direct sunlight for several hours, after which the flowers are discarded and the infused spring water retained. |

To operate the unit, you simply fill it with filtered water (or spring water), then turn it on by pressing a button on the front panel. It runs for a preprogrammed number of minutes (you can choose the number of minutes), then automatically shuts off.
When operating, the Vitalizer Plus generates a nice vortex in the water (is looks like a miniature cyclone) that makes a typical "water going down the drain" sound. Technically, it all seemed to work fine, and I could not find any problems with the unit's operation. The difficulty in reviewing such a unit, however, is in testing the results. |

Spring water is water that comes from an underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth. It must be collected at the spring or through a borehole tapping the underground formation that feeds the spring. |

Spring water is water coming from an underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth. spring water must be collected only at the spring or through a borehole tapping the underground formation feeding the spring. To meet the definition of "spring," there must be natural force bringing the water to the surface opening. The location of the spring must be identified on the label of any water labeled spring water.
Well water comes from a hole bored, drilled, or otherwise constructed into the ground, which taps the water of an aquifer (an underground water source). |

The principle behind their use is that every disorder—physical or psychological—arises because of an inner imbalance for which nature has provided a cure, in the form of healing plants, sunlight, spring water and fresh air.
It is certainly true that asthma can be the result of mental disharmony and imbalance: stress is known to cause asthma, and fear is a potent trigger. Additionally the body's vitality may be lowered as a result of asthma, which in turn can result in unhap-piness, depression, feelings of inadequacy, and so on. |

Flower essences are made by floating fresh blossoms in spring water and letting them sit in the morning sun for 3 hours (or heating them by fire, as with some English essences). The blossoms are removed and what is left is the mother essence, which carries the vibratory energy—although no actual physical trace—of the flower. The essence is then diluted to the stock level, which is the form generally available commercially; the stock level can be diluted again to the dosage level. |

| You can't always trust labels stating "drinking water" or "spring water"—they may not be free of harmful chemicals. Just because a clever marketing campaign makes use of images of pristine mountain streams and waterfalls, don't believe for an instant the water actually originated there! As always, read the label and research the manufacturing facility and its standards.
How do all of these chemicals and other toxins in water affect the colon, and consequently, the overall health of the body? |
| The National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) observed a particular brand of bottle water with mountains and a lake on the label, which advertised its contents as "spring water". The water source for the manufacturing plant was actually a public water line located near a hazardous waste site!
To add insult to injury, studies have found some bottled water also contains C8, a chemical used to make Teflon*. The toxin was found in southeast Ohio tap water, so residents were given bottled water instead. |

The Iowa Story
Iowa has the highest radon exposure anywhere in the U.S. A study of females in Iowa, conducted by the University of Iowa, College of Public Health, found that 60% of the radon readings in basements of people who developed lung cancer, along with others who did not, were above the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's action level for radon. There were hardly any differences in radiation exposure between healthy women and women with lung cancer. |

Remembering all that I had been taught, I tuned in with all my senses to Daylily, examining her thoroughly in every detail. Eventually, I was ready to ask her for her plant spirit medicine. |

We all have to eat food and we usually look forward to mealtimes. Most people select their meals based solely on what tastes good and what satisfies their hunger at the moment. But do we understand what food our bodies actually need in order to be healthy? Next, we will take a close look at the various qualities and ingredients that must be in food to build health. |
| Pure natural spring water is very good, but not always available. Most city tap water should be purified by some method that removes chemicals and disease-causing toxins. Once this is done, the water may be clean and will better sustain life; however, it is still not the best kind of water for promoting health.
Have you noticed that when you drink more water, the number of times you have to run to the bathroom increases? Is this natural? Actually, it is not. The situation is that most of the water is running through us because it is not being absorbed at the cellular level where it is needed. |

Relaxation is also a factor in overcoming disease. More people die on Monday morning than on any other day of the week or at any other time. Stress accelerates illness as it causes the eliminative organs and the muscular system to constrict and hold onto toxicity and metabolic waste. Stress also causes us to use up certain minerals such calcium, magnesium and zinc more rapidly. |
