The twenty-eight thousand workers exposed to radiation had a 24 percent lower mortality rate than their thirty-two thousand counterparts who were not exposed to radiation. Somehow, the toxins that everyone assumed and feared were ruining the workers' health were doing just the opposite. radiation is a stress in that it damages cells, and at high levels it kills them and can lead to the development of diseases such as cancer. In this case, the radiation dose was apparently low enough that instead of killing the cells of the exposed workers, it made them stronger. |

One study divided thirty people who had advanced brain tumors into two groups and treated one with radiation therapy and the other with radiation therapy plus 20 mg of melatonin. After a year, only one of the sixteen (6 percent) in the radiation-only group was still alive compared to six of the fourteen (43 percent) in the radiation plus melatonin group.

Then there's melatonin's most famous use— helping to regulate sleep. Melatonin helps sets the brain's internal clock. It's terrific for jet lag and for any time that your sleep cycle is disrupted artificially. |

They might think they have beaten their cancer with chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, only to find a few years later that tumors have spread into other tissues -- usually the lungs, brain, or even the reproductive organs. Conventional medicine has not yet caught on to what's happening here, but the reason why this phenomenon occurs is quite simple: Conventional cancer treatments only treat the symptoms of cancer (tumors or growths) and do not actually do anything to help the patient regain a level of health necessary to keep cancer in check.
A tumor is not technically a disease. |
| Chemotherapy is not a cure for cancer, nor is radiation, because both of those treatments actually cause cancer.
When you poison the immune system and irradiate tissues, you create physical imbalances which in turn can create cancer. This is the simple reason why so many people who subject themselves to conventional cancer treatments find themselves battling recurring cancer years later.
Where to start with curing cancer
The bottom line is that conventional cancer treatments are a sham and they do nothing to help the patient overcome the causes of cancer. |

They compared two groups of nuclear shipyard workers from Baltimore who had similar jobs except for a single key difference: one group was exposed to very low levels of radiation from the materials they handled, and the other was not. The DOE tracked the workers between 1980 and 1988, and what they found shocked everyone involved.

Recall the X-rays and radiation of the first half of the twentieth century, people thought that radiation was great for you. Manufacturers were equating radiation with energy and thinking that if you consumed radiation pills, you would be more energetic. These were actually sold and sponsored by physicians and doctors, it was a mainstay of the medical industry in those days.
Later, we had the lead issue with industrial companies like DuPont, which has an interesting history in the manufacture and distribution of lead. People were convinced lead was great for everything. |

That's why there's the big push for mammograms, by the way. Mammograms actually cause breast cancer because they emit so much radiation. Dr. John Gofman, author of radiation from Medical Procedures in the Pathogenesis of Cancer and Ischemic Heart Disease, says that 83 percent of all breast cancer is actually caused by mammograms and other forms of medical radiation. (Read more about the uselessness of mammograms here. |

This scientist might have done well to pay more heed to the key earlier observation made in the firsr American report of aplastic anemia in Baltimore, wherein the author pointed out that X-ray radiation and benzene shared a predilection for acting on blood cells in a similar way. It was known by this time that radiation could have a twofold effect: an initial suppression of bone marrow's capacity to form blood cells, followed only later by a loss of normal controls over cell production. Leukemia is the end-stage, cancerous manifestation of cell proliferation caused by radiation exposure. |

| The minimum radiation from a routine chest X-ray is 2 mrem. X-ray radiation accumulates in the body and it is well-known that ionizing radiation used in X-ray procedures causes gene mutation. We can only obtain guesstimates as to its impact on health from this high level of radiation. Experts manage to obscure the real effects in statistical jargon such as, "The risk for lifetime fatal cancer due to radiation exposure is estimated to be 4 in one million per 1,000 mrem."89

Computed Tomography scans give you more radiation than hundreds of chest x-rays. A number of doctors were asked this question about CT scans, and only 20 percent knew how much radiation the scans would produce. Sure, it's $1,000 for the test, and you get mega amounts of radiation. Along with this radiation, why don't you take some prescription drugs, which also impair immune system function and cause nutritional deficiency, promoting chronic diseases? Put this all together, and you will be back soon. |

Here's a benefit that might surprise most of us: Under certain conditions, it seems that eating soy may make radiation more effective during prostate cancer treatment. According to new research by Gilda Hillman, PhD, an associate professor of radiation oncology with the Kar-manos Cancer Institute in Detroit, soy foods appear to render cancer cells more susceptible to radiation (or more radiosensitive). |

Medical fascism is perhaps at its worst in the cancer area with oncologists insisting that poisoning patients with chemicals and radiation is the only and best way to go.
Minerals, not drugs, and certainly not radiation or chemicals, are essential for life and health and provide the keys for the prevention and cure of cancer. Minerals (in the form of cesium chloride)16 also provide a reasonably safe way to treat advanced stage four cancer without resorting to the slash and burn tactics of radiation and chemotherapy. |

All of our LED lights produce no UV radiation or IR radiation, making them perfect for use in museums, hospitals, offices or areas where UV radiation might degrade the surroundings (such as illuminating valuable artwork or photographs). The fact that they run remarkably cool also means they greatly reduce the fire hazard normally associated with the use of lights.
LED lights will make incandescent and fluorescent lights obsolete
I will offer a prediction right here: LED lights will render both incandescent light bulbs AND compact fluorescent lights obsolete. |

Maybe stress isn't so bad after all. But because the study "failed"— it didn't show the expected malignant effect of radiation—it was never published. From what we've since learned about the biology of stress and recovery, stress seems to have an effect on the brain similar to that of vaccines on the immune system. In limited doses, it causes brain cells to overcompensate and thus gird themselves against future demands. |

I am not suggesting that people with cancer avoid chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or cancer surgery. If you have cancer, you should consult a physician to determine the best course of treatment for your particular form of cancer. Unfortunately, the current course of treatment is toxic drugs that kill disease-fighting white blood cells, harmful radiation that damages living tissue and surgery to cut out body parts. These methods of treatment expose the patient to more disease. |

The amount of radiation exposure is inversely related to the square of the distance from the television set. For example, there is 16 times as much radiation exposure at a distance of 1 foot from the set as there is 4 feet away, and 36 times as much radiation at a distance of 1 foot as there is at 6 feet.

Other experiments involving environmental stressors such as heat, cold, lack of nutrients, ultraviolet light, and toxins all come to the same startling conclusion: at the right dose, these potentially lethal factors can actually promote survival. |
