The very concept of natural cures or natural medicine or natural foods also implies that if something is found in nature it's good, and if it's manufactured, it's not. This is patently ridiculous. Poison ivy, crude oil, and toxic mushrooms are all quite "natural," but I wouldn't recommend eating them. And there's nothing natural about a manufactured tablet containing vitamin C, vitamin E, and selenium—but it's pretty darn good for you.
Truth is, the dividing line between what's natural and what's not is both a shifting target and a gray area, without a hint of black or white. |
| I think the germ of truth in both these answers—mine and Bortz's—can be applied to natural cures and healing in general. The best treatment is the one that actually works for you.
In the long run, you are in charge of your health. Listen wisely to those you trust, but ultimately make your own decisions. Remember that your health is both a gift that was given to you and a gift that you give the world. |
| REPPED: Let me be perfectly honest with you— natural cures was not, at first, my favorite title for this book.
"Cure" is a word I don't like to use when talking about natural treatments. Natural medicine—or nutritional medicine—works by treating the whole body as a system. It's not a philosophy based on taking a pill to suppress a symptom; it's about healing the condition that caused the symptom in the first place. |
| How natural cures Help You
One of my friends, Joseph Brasco, M.D.— interviewed for this book for his expertise in all things gastrointestinal—told me about his "rule of thirds," something that applies to the majority of the natural treatments and "cures" I write about in this book.
"One-third of the people I treat with natural medicine [like diet and supplements] will get 100 percent better—effectively cured," he told me. |
| WHY THIS BOOK IS DIFFERENT
If there's one thing that sets The Most Effective natural cures on Earth apart from the spate of other "natural cure" books it's this: research. Let me explain.
The major objection the average person is likely to hear from establishment doctors about "natural medicine" is that there's "no good research showing it works." We hear this constantly about vitamins, antioxidants, herbs, and all sorts of non-medical healing traditions (from acupuncture to shamanism). |

Let's face it: you can't trust the mainstream press to provide an honest review of Trudeau's natural cures book. For one thing, the entire mainstream press is heavily influenced by billions in drug advertising dollars. Some people describe the mainstream news outlets as "drug whores," which is hilariously accurate. You can't seriously expect the major media outlets to offer fair and balanced coverage to a book that's threatening the profit centers of their primary advertisers, can you? Of course not. Trudeau will never get a fair shake in the eyes of the drug-supported press. |
| REPPED: As Kevin Trudeau's natural cures book has suddenly become the top-selling self-published book in history, a lot of readers are emailing and asking what I think about Trudeau, his book, and his commercial success. A few people are even asking whether I feel like Trudeau is stealing the spotlight and getting all the attention on the very same issues and advice I've been writing about for years.
Are they kidding me? Why on earth would I be unhappy to see someone spearhead a successful public education campaign that challenges Big Pharma and the FDA? |
| Exposing the lies of Big Pharma
The earthquake has begun, and the success of Kevin Trudeau's natural cures book is simply a sign that the public is ready to hear this message. People have been exploited and financially ransacked by Big Pharma for so long that they're desperate for alternatives. The big lies of Big Pharma are finally hitting the mainstream. Which lies? Lies, for example, like, "every new drug takes $800 million in research to develop, and that's why we have to keep charging ripoff drug prices to all Americans."

If you have not read natural cures "They" Don't Want You to Know About, you need to read it. In it I expose and blow the lid off some of the most well-kept secrets in healthcare and government. As a longtime covert operative for both the U.S. Government and pharmaceutical industry, I know information that few people have been privy to. The reason I have been so violently attacked is because the "powers that be" know that I in fact know the truth. Powerful people of governments around the world and some of the richest people on the planet are fully aware that I can "name names. |
| The bottom line is that these natural cures come from licensed healthcare practitioners, healers, doctors, and M.D.s from around the world. It is impossible to suggest that a person will agree with everything in this book. I am simply reporting on what the doctors and researchers have discovered.
The FTC says you are a habitual false advertiser.
This is standard operating procedure used by the government and media. When a whistleblower like me comes forward and exposes the corruption in government and big business, the procedure used is to debunk, discredit, and file false accusations. |

| In my book natural cures I talk about the outrageous FDA ban of the herb ma-huang, a natural source of Ephedra. I have repeatedly stated that the FDA abuses its power. I believe the FDA is not protecting consumers, but rather used by the drug industry to protect the profits of the powerful pharmaceutical cartel. The drug companies spend hundreds of millions of dollars trying to persuade lawmakers to ban safe and effective all-natural remedies. |

Where is the spotlight for Dr. Gary Null?
In terms of sheer recognition for fighting this health information battle, though, there are individuals far more deserving of the national spotlight, in my opinion. And my list starts with Dr. Gary Null -- a genuine champion of natural health and health freedom. Dr. Null is so consistently right about health, nutrition and medicine that I personally believe if Dr. |

Healers have long realized that the external surface of the body can be used as a conduit or a reflex center to positively influence the internal organs. The body is a complex and intelligent network of muscles, soft tissues, and nerve structures that communicate with each other. |

Five years ago, his natural cures book would have flopped. But today, the environment is just right. And why? Because organized medicine is losing this war.
Historically, I think the runaway success of Trudeau's book, combined with the recent $253 million jury verdict against Merck over the Vioxx trial, will be seen as milestone events that heralded the demise of Big Pharma and the collapse of the highly corrupt U.S. drug racket. I think the tide has turned. The public is no longer asleep at the wheel. They realize they're being outright killed by prescription drugs. |

How to Use This Book
This book focuses on providing you with results. We have incorporated the best of what science and nature have to offer in the field of natural medicine.
The largest component of the book, Part One, includes entries for health conditions. They are listed in alphabetical order. |
| Prescription for natural cures focuses on natural and preventative remedies. It is our belief that the body functions best when we ingest substances that are as close as possible to their natural state. This rule holds true with most foods, herbs, air, and water. While modern pharmaceutical medications can have amazing properties and may be necessary in certain cases, they generally have an inherent potential for causing side effects. Why is this so? Simply put, our genetic code was not designed to be compatible with synthetic, man-made drugs. |
| The forms of bodywork described herein (and many others that are too numerous to mention) are very compatible with the dietary and nutritional supplements recommended in Prescription for natural cures. As a matter of fact, most people will do better with a synergistic combination of natural healing methods. Also, for people who need to use prescription drugs, bodywork is usually compatible with these and will speed the healing process. For a referral to various bodywork associations, please see the appendix—A Natural Health-Care Modalities and Resource Guide, on page 695. |

I intend on producing a radio network, which will be broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, called the "Natural Cures Radio Network." Initially, this will be broadcast on the web and I intend on negotiating with broadcasting this through other channels as well, including satellite radio. This radio network may in fact take some advertising, but not for any of the products that we talk about on the network. It will take advertising for only informational publications or other generic, mundane products and services.

The bottom line: the raging success of Kevin Trudeau's natural cures book is a milestone that signals the approaching demise of today's system of organized crime / organized medicine. Watch for the FTC, AMA, FDA, the mainstream press and others to do everything in their power to silence Trudeau to prevent him from doubling his success with a second book that reaches even more readers.
In the end, though, they can't silence us all. |

And if you have hypertension, are at risk for it, or just want to know more, there's no better place to begin than with his book What Your Doctor May Not Tell You about Hypertension.
When I asked Houston to single out a few basics for a combo cure for hypertension, he replied that it would be tough to single out the superstar performers. After all, the basics of the Hypertension Institute Program involve a sophisticated vitamin regimen, exercise, weight maintenance, stress reduction, and the DASH diet (more on that in a moment). |

Will the FTC now order the destruction of Trudeau's natural cures weight loss book? If so, I can't wait to cover this one. They'll turn Trudeau into a martyr and find themselves under attack by a mob of raging librarians (I'm not kidding. Librarians don't tolerate book burnings...).
I'm not saying Trudeau's marketing of his natural cures weight loss book is one hundred percent honest. I haven't read the book, and I haven't watched the infomercial. It may potentially be even more dishonest than the labeling of Slim Fast or Weight Watchers products (in my opinion). |

As you all know, the drug companies do not want me selling my book and exposing the fact that drugs are ineffective and unsafe, and that there are in fact natural cures for virtually every disease. The drug companies do not want you to know that they are only in business to make money and sell you more drugs.
The major food companies want my book off the market because they do not want me exposing the fact that the major food companies are secretly putting chemicals and ingredients in the food purposely to increase your appetite, get you physically addicted and make you fat. |
| This is the power of natural cures.
The most important point to consider here is this: Don't be brainwashed by the drug companies. The pharmaceutical industry is spending virtually billions of dollars trying to brainwash you into believing that drugs are safe and effective and will make your life better and that you need them for health. They are spending billions of dollars trying to make you believe that natural remedies are not safe and are ineffective, and actually dangerous. This is the greatest brainwashing ever perpetrated in the world. Do not be brainwashed. The exact opposite is true. |

Remember, the "natural cure" for your condition must be personalized and customized based on a variety of factors. The first thing that must be addressed is finding the cause of your symptoms, illness, and disease. This is why doing all the things in Chapter Six of my first book cures virtually every disease. The items in Chapter Six address virtually all the potential causes for virtually all diseases.
How do I know this to be true? |

But please know that I am using my fortune to expand my mission of educating the world about the dangers of drugs and surgery, and about the benefits of natural cures. Question: You mentioned you were in jail. It says on the Internet that you have been a really bad person.

| This Web site will be the counter-Web site to WebMD. WebMD, in my opinion, is nothing more than a front for the pharmaceutical industry. All you have to do is look at who is advertising on WebMD and you will see that the pharmaceutical industry controls the content of that Web site. Also look at the board of directors of WebMD, as well as the officers and senior executives. Look at the tens of millions of dollars in pure profit these people have made on the stock of WebMD. |

Conventional medical researchers are almost always funded by commercial interests, too, meaning they're not really interested in looking for free of natural cures for disease. They're looking for a way to scare the public into getting more disease "screenings," taking more pills and submitting to more invasive medical tests so that patients can be diagnosed and then "treated" with high-profit prescription drugs. It's all about recruiting patients into their profitable medical scam where diseases are never prevented or cured but managed with a lifetime of extremely expensive pharmaceuticals. |

To meet the growing demand, the supplement industry has grown to include not only dietary supplements, vitamins and minerals, but also herbal products marketed as natural remedies and natural cures.
Like anything that catches on with the public and has the potential for huge profits, the supplement industry became big business. Hundreds of millions of consumers are buying pills, powders, tonics and other formulas to improve their health. At least that is what they are led to believe. |
