I've been saying this for years, as have many others in the natural health community, but now this experiment clearly demonstrates it. medical doctors claim to be scientifically trained. They claim to be rational people. They say that everything's a formula, so people are only given prescriptions that are medically necessary. But when a patient comes in and mentions the name of a drug, all that rationality and all that so-called scientific thinking gets thrown out the window. |

What follows is a short timeline of the nonsense, junk science, negligence and harmful advice peddled by medical doctors over the last 150 years or so: (see the end of this article for serious follow-up comments describing the intent behind this satire piece)

Ignaz Semmelweis, an Austrian-Hungarian obstetrician working in a clinic that delivers babies, is labeled "insane" by his fellow doctors for having the audacity to suggest that doctors should wash their hands between delivering babies. |
| Many of the outstanding people I know in natural health started as conventional medical doctors (M.D.s). The difference between complete idiot doctors and intelligent doctors is that idiots are not willing to abandon their existing dogmatic beliefs when faced with new, contradictory evidence. Intelligent people, on the other hand, adapt and evolve their ideas when faced with new information or evidence.
Conventional medicine, for the most part, does not want to learn anything new that might challenge its existing status quo dominance over the lives of parents and children. |

Worst of all, when a woman complains of even the slightest symptoms of estrogen dominance, most conventional medical doctors recommend a prescription of synthetic estrogen replacement. This practice is both irresponsible and dangerous, and even though it is usually rooted in ignorance, it can have tragic consequences. the long-term health risks of estrogen dominance
The relationship between estrogen dominance and weight gain is a very real concern, but there are others as well. Clinical studies conducted in both the United States and Europe link estrogen dominance to many other health risks. |

When we refer to doctors, we mean both medical doctors (MDs) and doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs), who have similar medical training. We sometimes list other health care providers who, while not physicians, go through special training.

Therefore, when patients approached mainstream physicians with suspicions of hypoglycemia, they were often dismissed as misguided and silly.

| With conventional medical doctors in their hip pockets, it's easy for pharmaceutical companies to convince you their products are beneficial. Meanwhile, these companies marginalize or outright attack alternative therapies (such as nutrition, exercise, and natural supplements) so you have no option left but to take their drugs. I want you to know you have other options. Your body belongs to you, not to Big Pharma (a common nickname or euphemism for the collective pharmaceutical industry in the U.S.A.), and you don't have to depend on drugs anymore. |

Articles by medical doctors would have the most influence on women and other medical doctors, but it wasn't possible to gather enough MDs to write as many pro-estrogen articles as the campaign called for. Solution? Both types of articles would utilize professional medical writers who would write the articles but then send them to physicians who would read over the articles and agree to allow their names (and MD initials) to appear as authors. The physicians who participated with the "ghostwriters" would receive checks for thousands of dollars for this service. |

Is this so difficult for conventionally-trained medical doctors to understand?
I believe that every single person involved in this task force report should have their medical license stripped and be banished from practicing medicine ever again. In my opinion, their astonishing ignorance of vitamin D's effects on the cancer risk of black women is inexcusable. These people have a responsibility to know the basics when it comes to preventing cancer with nutrition, and when they remain utterly ignorant of these simple concepts, they post a dire risk to public health. |

As the historian and acupuncturist Rey Tiquia has documented, western medical doctors were the principal lobbyists for new regulations intended to exclude the Chinese (as well as competitors from other systems) from practising medicine. Orthodox western practitioners outnumbered Chinese healers by almost ten to one in the 1861 census of Victoria, and were clearly the most prominent healing community. So why did the combination of Chinese healers and intransigent disease produce such a ferocious reaction? |
| Up to the mid-1990s, many European countries and American states restricted the practice of acupuncture to medical doctors, but these laws were difficult to enforce and are now undergoing reform.
The relaxation of such restrictive legislation should by no means be taken as a sign that alternative and cross-cultural medicine remains an unregulated marketplace, however. The same interdependent processes of regulation and professionalization that dominated the nineteenth-century history of orthodox medicine are now under way in relation to many heterodox disciplines of healing? |

Almost all of the scientific studies conducted on the thousands of drugs and treatments applied by medical doctors throughout the world included the placebo effect. Although the placebo effect is a purely subjective response by the patient or the subject being tested, it somehow became an essential factor for medical research to be considered objective and reliable. Nevertheless, the placebo effect, which represents the body's own healing mechanism, has never been the subject of research. After all, you cannot patent the placebo healing response and make money from selling it. |

| I recently revealed one of the most overlooked and suppressed health secrets in the world (at the Ninth International Conference on Science and Consciousness in Santa Fe, New Mexico) at a gathering of international scientists and natural healthcare practitioners as well as medical doctors.
Tragically, this information has been withheld from the general public and has not been included as a part of standard medical training. After years of research, I have finally pieced everything together and I am confident this information is the key to preventing disease and healing the body naturally. |
| In the beginning I went to medical doctors, but to no avail. In my twenties I still couldn't even go to the bathroom taking 8 prescription pills per night. When I was 32,1 was introduced by my chiropractor to healthy alternatives. I am eternally grateful for this. I am now 45 and have come a long way since then.

Canada, all the while labeling those medical doctors "quacks." It happened to Dr. Leo Roy whom I quote in this book.
The final stroke of genius was to ensure that the general public could afford the expensive drugs and treatment procedures. Government health insurance was set up, but only for orthodox medical treatment. Health insurance companies were convinced that the medical association treatment methods were the best and that natural healing methods were ineffective.
With these organizations in place, the pharmaceutical cartel's control was complete, and tremendous profits were assured. |
| Even though we may not be aware of a disease condition, and medical doctors may not be able to diagnose it, our body knows. It has a built-in, innate intelligence. And it will take the necessary corrective action, as a matter of course, if we work with it.

The body works on each priority area until it is no longer the highest priority, moving on to the next worst condition after that. Little by little, vitality is raised and overall health is improved. |

MEDICAL THINKING IS CH E M ISTR Y-B AS E D
Conventional medicine, with its drug-treatment mindset, typically views the body only as a chemical entity. This thinking is 80 years out of date, and based on the Newtonian physics view that the universe is composed of matter. This completely ignores the energy factors of health proved by quantum physics since 1925.5 All living things have living chemistry. |

Perhaps a lot of them don't even know this history, but this is the real history of medical doctors in this country. In the future they will look back to today and say, "We are ashamed that we promoted all of these drugs, that we prescribed them without teaching patients how to be healthy. We are ashamed of our profession, and it's time to make some changes." They indeed should be ashamed, because right now old school medical doctors are doing tremendous harm.

In 1976, Los Angeles County registered a sudden reduction of its death rate by eighteen percent when many medical doctors went on strike against the increase of health insurance premiums for malpractice. In a study by Dr. Milton Roemer from the University of California, Los Angeles, 17 of the largest hospitals in the county showed a total of 60 percent fewer operations during the period of the strike. When the doctors resumed work and medical activities went back to normal, death rates also returned to pre-strike levels.

In some of those cases, testing often can be and is done in settings other than physician's offices by qualified persons with much less training than medical doctors. Some can be self-administered, such as the blood pressure cuffs at many supermarkets, including one that we frequent (though that particular machine is often busted; when working it often gives results that would make our own mortality imminent).
Screening for all cardiovascular diseases and cancer is usually and appropriately assessed on its effect on mortality and morbidity. Does early diagnosis lead to decreased mortality? |
| Glaucoma, diagnosed in asymptomatic patients, can be arrested with success—though, presumably, this test is done only by specialists (often not medical doctors) of the eye. These successes are noteworthy. They seem to reveal the value of routine physical examinations of supposedly healthy patients. |

The Paradigm Shift
A definite shift is taking place among medical doctors in the United States and other industrialized nations from the specialized areas of practice toward a more holistic approach to health and healing. | Behind heart disease and cancer, medical doctors are the third-leading cause of death in the U.S. The famous physician Charles E. Page, M.D. once stated: "The cause of most disease is in the poisonous drugs physicians superstitiously give in order to affect a cure." But he's forgetting the most important thing: Patients who are first harmed by chemotherapy, and then ultimately cured of cancer in Mexico cancer clinics have no reason to come back and talk to conventional medical doctors. Why would they? Would you want to talk to the doctor who nearly killed you before you finally escaped to Mexico and got real medical help?
Conventional medical doctors have already made up their minds anyway. You could show them a dozen patients cured of stage 4 cancer, and they'd dismiss the whole bunch, concluding, "It's just spontaneous remission. |
