Every night, it leaves its colony, finds a nice blade of grass, and climbs to the tip, where it hangs on and, apparently suicidal, waits to be eaten by a grazing sheep as it munches on the grass. If it's not eaten, it returns to its colony during the day and finds another blade of grass the next night. Eventually, when the ant is eaten along with its blade of grass, the flukes make their way from the digestive system of their new host and colonize another liver.

A wheatgrass juicer acts as a press that slowly extracts the wheatgrass juice from each blade of grass. Using a wheatgrass juicer is preferable because it does not destroy the enzymes with high speed. (Alternatively, you can find prepared wheatgrass juice at most health food stores, as well as chain juice bars such as Jamba Juice.)
Optional Brief Fast with Juice
I get a lot of questions about fasting, and how one can best reap the benefits of fasting for cleansing and detox purposes. You might not expect some of the reasoning behind being extremely careful about fasting, however. |

Lemon grass extract has been shown to reduce the number, but not the size, of chemically-induced liver tumors in mice. [Cancer Letters 183: 9-15, 2000] But this experiment was conducted with a specially prepared extract, not raw lemon grass. Citral, a molecule in lemon grass, may be the primary anti-cancer ingredient. Concentrations of citral, comparable to that found in a cup of lemon grass tea prepared from one gallon of lemon grass, has been shown to promote tumor cell death in laboratory dishes. |

I was out there knocking on my neighbors' doors, saying, "You know, you have Brown’s grass Disease! You need to go see my doctor. He'll give you some stuff for it. Trust me, it solves it. Come over and look at my lawn. It's green! Not like your brown grass lawn." But they didn't listen. They're out there spraying water like a bunch of idiots.
Everything went along fine for a few weeks. My lawn was nice and green, even though I'd spent $5000 on this pigmentation product. But I had the best lawn in the neighborhood. Everyone else was out there wasting their time, spraying water. |

Think of wind blowing through a field of grass. Individual blades of grass are being buffeted this way or that. One blade is bent, another straight. One is twisted around another. However, overall, as you stand back and look over the entire field, it looks fairly symmetrical, with wide swaths of grass moving gracefully together as the wind ripples across the field.
To look at it another way, the field of grass also is alive with other kinds of movement: bugs scurrying here and there, earthworms pushing dirt around, seeds germinating, and weeds growing. |

Hopefully, the new one won't have Brown’s grass Disease."
Sure enough, he brought over a team, and they put on their masks and their surgical coats. They brought these really huge scalpels, and they dug up what was left of the old lawn. Afterwards, they put in a whole new lawn that was green. It was green from day one. Apparently, it wasn't suffering from Brown’s grass Disease, or perhaps they had already treated it with the pigmentation. I'm now paying off the new lawn with monthly payments. |

Steers raised on grass are eating their traditional diet, and the fat in their meat is quite different from the corn-fed (oftentimes GMO corn) fast-food variety. Steers have special stomachs that convert grass into useful proteins and can modify fats contained naturally in the grass. One thing grass-eaters do is make CLA (conjugated linolenic acid), an important nutrient that supports healthy metabolism. Grass-eaters also concentrate omega-3 oils in their fat, especially the important DHA which is friendly to the heart and vital for brain function. |

Believe me, you don't want to see Brown’s grass Disease. It is ugly. You don't want to see grasseoporosis, either. That is very difficult to treat. When it rains, you don't want to be anywhere near that glue. Believe me! You can get your car stuck in that thing. It's like walking through molasses. It also gives off lots of fumes. It's not pretty. So get your lawn screened today and catch this early. |
| I thought, "Brown’s grass Disease has been solved by my doctor and the medical community. These people really know their stuff."
I started driving around, noticing that all my neighbors had Brown’s grass Disease as well, but they didn't even know it. I went back to my doctor and said, "Apparently, this disease is contagious, because the two yards next to mine also have it." As the summer progressed, the disease kept on spreading. It just went from one yard to another, because these people didn't have the medicine that I had. |
| Like the green pigmentation that the grass needs? Is that what this is?" I asked. "Yes, it's green pigmentation," he replied. "So, it's like paint?" I asked. He said, "Yes, it's kind of like spray paint but it's more. It's from the medical community, and it's been proven safe on your lawn. When you use this medicine on your grass, it will turn green!"
Wow! All this time, I'd been wasting precious water on the lawn. All I needed to do was buy this can of green pigmentation and spray the lawn. This apparently was the solution. I asked, "Well, how much is it? |

If you're having trouble getting nutrition into your children's bodies, try this product. You can find it again at www.AmazingGrass.com or look for it at natural health food stores and quality grocers all around the country. Thank you, Brandon.

Mike: Good slogan. I like it.
Burt: Thanks a lot, Mike. |

The first time an allergy-prone person is exposed to an allergen—for example, grass pollen—the individual's B cells make large amounts of the grass pollen-specific IgE antibody. These IgE molecules attach to histamine-containing cells known as mast cells, which are plentiful in the lungs, skin, tongue, and linings of the nose and gastrointestinal tract. The next time this person encounters grass pollen, the IgE-primed mast cell releases powerful chemicals (histamine) that cause the wheezing, sneezing, and other symptoms of an allergic reaction. |

This is Mike Adams the Health Ranger, here with Brandon Burt of the Amazing grass Company. They have an outstanding new product called "Kidz SuperFood." We're going to talk about this and why it's important for the nutrition of children, and how this product tastes fantastic -- unlike many of the others that children just don't want to drink.
Brandon Burt: Taste is here, and there's one for children and adults, too.
Mike: You actually conducted some taste trials on this to get the right taste, correct? Can you talk about that a little bit?
Burt: We did. |
| Your company, the Amazing grass Company, sounds like sort of a small family-owned operation. Does that characterize your company?
Burt: It is absolutely. My grandfather's been in the dehydrating business for about 40 to 50 years now. He's been more on the wholesale side. I started the company with my business partner about three years ago and we had a passion for a healthy lifestyle outdoors. |

Mow your lawn at the mower's highest setting and let the grass cuttings stay in the lawn as a natural mulch. You could even spend some time outside and pull up weeds or use one of the new contraptions that just pops them out of the ground.
Think twice before spraying toxic chemicals on your lawn. Cats walking on a sprayed lawn lick their paws, ingesting this toxic substance. Dogs walk and roll in grass sprayed with these chemicals and if they have even a small cut, these toxins can enter their system. |

Pollen and airborne mold
Airborne pollen from weeds, flowers, shrubs, and grasses is the best-known allergen, but many people are allergic to eating grass. Nobody in their right mind eats grass, do they? In fact, we commonly eat domesticated forms of grass, such as wheat and other grains. Someone who is highly sensitive to the allergens in grasses may suffer nasal congestion from eating wheat bread or corn products.
Altemaria is a mold that colonizes grain elevators and triggers many cases of asthma in people who live in farming areas. |
