 The many uses of Power Immune
The following uses are not necessarily endorsed or claimed by the manufacturer, they're simply my own opinion on how this product can be used.
For first aid: I've used this tincture on scrapes and wounds as a simple antibacterial cleanser. There are no chemical first aid products in my house; I've thrown them all out and replaced them with herbal products (or aloe vera). This Power Immune is one of my favorites. I consider it a first aid antibacterial product. |

 It's my portable first aid kit, and when you have aloe, you hardly need anything else. It treats cuts, scrapes, burns, bites, stings, punctures, sprains, sunburns and even bruises. | Throw out your toxic first aid kid: Aloe vera makes everything else obsolete
Aloe vera is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. This fact is well known by not just herbalists around the world, but also by anyone with even a hint of common sense. If aloe vera gel wasn't antibacterial, then any little nick or scrape of the aloe plant would result in the whole thing being eaten up by bacteria. Aloe has to be antibacterial simply to survive in the wild! Otherwise, the moist, nutrient-rich gel would be a perfect breeding ground for bacteria.

| You can get rid of all those silly, toxic first aid sprays (antibacteria sprays, lotions, bandages, etc.) and just replace them all with aloe vera. I've been known to pack small chunks of aloe vera gel inside wounds that ultimately healed with zero scarring. As the aloe vera dries, it actually contracts, pulling the wound shut and keeping it completely free of dangerous bacteria. Plus, it provides nourishment to the wound tissue itself. It's also perfect for use on animals, because if they lick the wound, they won't be licking the toxic chemicals found in most first aid products. |

| There are no chemical first aid products in my house; I've thrown them all out and replaced them with herbal products (or aloe vera). This Power Immune is one of my favorites. Of course, it does contain alcohol (a natural part of the tincture), which means it's going to burn a bit on open wounds, but the alcohol adds yet another layer of antibacterial activity.

 As a first aid measure to avert potential heart attacks or strokes, the body attempts to contain the bleeding wounds. It does this by dispatching the glue-like lipoprotein, LP5, into the blood. LP5 attaches itself to the open wounds, thereby sealing them. To promote the wounds healing and to prevent them from repeated bleeding, the sticky LP5 catches the relatively large lipoprotein molecules, such as LDL and VLDL cholesterol molecules (or "bad" cholesterol), and builds them into the artery walls. The resulting protective "bandage" saves the person's life, at least for a while. |

| I openly recommend it to everyone as an addition to their first aid kit or as a preparation against infectious disease (see below). But it could be improved in a couple of ways.
If the ingredients were all certified organic, that would make it even better. Unfortunately, that would necessarily raise the price, making it cost perhaps 50% more, so there's always a trade-off on ingredients vs. cost. Since this isn't a food that you eat every day, I'm not so concerned about it not being certified organic.
Secondly, it could be improved a bit in terms of its potency. |

| In most cases, a pain signal occurs when one of the brain's first aid hormones, called histamine, is secreted in large amounts and passes over the pain nerves near or alongside a congested area.
The body also uses histamines to reject foreign materials such as viral particles or toxic substances and to direct other hormones or systems in the body to regulate water distribution. | In addition to being an outstanding supplement to add to any smoothie, it would also make a perfect product for first aid use, by the way. Simply add water to the aloe vera gel flakes and you have a natural band-aid that kills bacteria and seals the wound. I discuss this in greater detail in my previous article about aloe vera.
Another important use for aloe vera gel is in curing gum disease. Simply adding some aloe vera flakes to your toothbrush each day, then brushing your teeth with aloe vera, will have a dramatically positive impact on your gum health. |

It can be given before and after surgery, or to treat any minor accident that results in tenderness and bruising. Use this remedy if there is a great localized tenderness with pain that feels sore and achy in nature.
Hypericum: This remedy follows Arnica well and can be used to great effect where there is trauma and injury to areas that are especially well-served with nerve endings, such as the fingers and toes. |

The remedies below can play a complementary role in speeding up recovery from a mild to moderate sprain, provided the necessary first aid measures have been taken. To treat a severe sprain that requires a plaster cast and even surgery, consult an experienced homeopathic practitioner.

 People with hemophilia may bleed somewhat longer than other people, but minor bleeding episodes can generally be controlled by ordinary first aid measures.
