 Melanin also determines hair and eye color. More melanin means darker hair and darker eyes. The milk white skin of an albino is caused by an enzyme deficiency that results in the production of little or no melanin. Tear production for the normal functions of the eye is absolutely essential. In some people, this function is deficient and the eyes feel a burning sensation. Much blinking may take place to promote circulation to the tear glands. If this is ineffective, the eyes will be forced to shut to prevent water loss by evaporation. After reading about unwinding spasms with magnesium oil, I diluted a little in an eyedropper bottle until the salinity was neutral to my tears and comfortably dropped it into my eyes. The effect is subtle, but I experienced some of my best distant vision (my challenge is nearsightedness) a day after using the drops for two days. |
