Church of Scientology is long and complex, and it is a sad demonstration of true religious intolerance right here in the United States. The First Amendment, which protects both Free Speech and Religion, offers no real protection against the criminals at the FDA, who have for decades attempted to suppress alternative philosophies that actually help people heal. |
| This is the true history of the FDA that the FDA doesn't wan't you to know!

1987: The Life Extension Raids
The Life Extension Foundation (www.LEF.org) has long been targeted by the FDA. It is a non-profit organization that publishes information about the healing power of nutritional supplements and genuine anti-aging breakthroughs from the world of natural health.

Chocolate soon became a snack for the masses, typified by the ubiquitous chocolate bar, a transformation overseen by the great, innovating manufacturers of England, Switzerland, and other European countries. But true mass production techniques were perfected in the United States by Milton Hershey, with his own factory town and Disney-like theme park based on chocolate. Yet as production, mass-marketing, and consumption skyrocketed, the culinary quality of the product plummeted. |
| Being symbolically blood, it was the right and true potion for Aztec warriors.
But there was a further layer of symbolic reference to cacao and chocolate. Aztec royalty and nobility were devoted to music, song, dance, and poetry. Great poems—and many have survived from Aztec times—were recited to the sound of drumbeats in palace courtyards; and some of the finest ate by Nezahualcoyotl, the poet-king of Texcoco. While many of these poems express a deep pessimism and an aching awareness of the transitoriness of life, many celebrate life's pleasures. |
| Following a series of exploits reminiscent of the Labors of Hercules, the Hero Twins go on to defeat Xibalba and its ghastly denizens, a true Harrowing of Hell. Their final task is to resurrect their slain father, the Maize God. This having been accomplished, they rise to the sky in glory as the sun and the moon. The story, then, basically deals in symbolic form with the burial (that is, the planting of the seed),
In this detail from a Classic Maya vase, the head of the Maize God is suspended in a cacao tree. growth, and fruition of maize, the Maya—and Mesoamerican—staff of life. |

In his Secret Memoirs for the History of the Republic of Letters, the writer Louis Petit de Bachaumont related the scandal thus:
Friends write from Marseilles that M. le comte de Sade ... gave a ball. ... Into the dessert he slipped chocolate pastilles so good that a number of people devoured them. There were lots of them, and no one failed to eat some, but he had mixed in some Spanish fly. The virtue of the medication is well known. It proved to be so potent that those who ate the pastilles began to burn with unchaste ardor and to carry on as if in the grip of the most amorous frenzy. |

And maybe that's true. But I don't claim to be the source of all that wisdom. In fact, it was my own body that taught me most of this and it's simply the observation of nature that brings this information to light. I'm no health genius. I'm just a guy who was willing to listen to nature.
All we really have to do to be good scientists or to be healthy human beings is calm our minds long enough that we can listen. And if we listen to what nature is telling us, and if we listen to what our own body is trying to communicate, then the answers become rather apparent. |

One of the interesting things about this documentary -- and perhaps one of the criticisms, if I may offer one -- is that the same is true of really any organization. It doesn't have to be a corporation. Remember, a corporation is a legal entity, but much the same goes on with federal regulatory agencies like the FDA and USDA. These organizations created by the federal government -- which is supposed to be created by the people -- really have no purpose other than to survive and grow and accumulate more power. We see the same thing in various nonprofit organizations, as well. |

So I did these things and I educated myself about the true causes of health. And as you well know if you read any of the info about me on the site, I spent more than 4000 hours learning about nutrition and how we can use whole foods to heal ourselves. And in all this, I became a huge believer in the wisdom of the body and the wisdom of nature, and our innate ability to achieve health if we just provide the proper nutrition to our bodies while avoiding dietary and environmental toxins.
So today, it's rather rewarding to announce that I am now 100% free of back pain. |

The same is true here in the United States. The people declaring war in this country are the exact same people who own, run and sit on the boards of the top businesses in this country, and those individuals only decide to go to war when it is profitable to do so. It was profitable for these individuals to declare war on Iraq because we didn't have any trade with Iraq, and Iraq had a very valuable resource -- oil. Now, anybody who imagines the war on Iraq is not about oil is a complete fool; of course it's about oil. You didn't see the U.S. |

The pavo in the dish's title is the Mexican-Spanish word for turkey, a Mesoamerican domesticate, to be sure: mole is a creolized version of the Nahuatl molli, (sauce); and poblano refers to the place of origin of the dish and its sauce, the Colonial Puebla de los Angeles; this beautiful city, unlike others in central Mexico, has no Aztec foundations—and neither does the dish, regardless of what food writers may say. |

As the historian Richard Dunn reminds us,72 this was exactly the period that the two great political parties were forming: the Tories, who were "divine right" royalists, and the Whigs, who were generally anti-Stuart. |

We are children in understanding the true causes of health and the complexities of what it takes to be a healthy person that lives in balance with our environment. We're nowhere near understanding what we need to understand in order to even call ourselves an advanced society.
And for myself, I feel like I've just barely begun this health journey. And yet, others keep telling me this is breakthrough information. This is amazing stuff! They say, "You are going way beyond traditional science and making a whole lot of physicians and medical researchers look pretty darned ignorant. |
| I learned to ask questions about the true nature of the human body and how it is carrying a blueprint for perfect health (if we would only listen to it).
Today, I greatly respect every human body and specifically my own body for being such a teacher, and for showing me the pathway to gaining new wisdom on peak human health.
With all that in mind, you can imagine how surprised I was to hear somebody saying, "Mike, you were born this way. You are naturally thin." As you can see, that's absolutely not the case. |

Sounds silly, but it's true: Most processed food gifts end up giving their recipients an increased risk of serious disease. So for those interested in actually giving people healthful gifts that enhance health and prevent disease, these Transition Nutrition gift baskets are a dream come true! Every single food item contained in these gift baskets contains numerous disease-fighting phytonutrients. The white mulberries, for example, which are found in the Bliss Mix product, contain powerful disease-fighting anthocyanins. |

If that last phrase seems odd to you, I'll ask you to suspend disbelief and learn more about raw foods before deciding what's true about it. I can tell you from experience that it IS true: The more living foods you eat, the higher your vibration becomes. Before long, you find yourself connected to all living things, thinking thoughts of global peace and compassion for all living things. It's not hocus pocus, it's simply attunement to the vibration of living plants (and the absence of angry meat energy or processed foods pollution). |

This is why I've often described organized medicine as a cult; it is not science. true scientists ask nature what's going on. They try to find out how the universe really works. A true scientist is a humble person, a humble student, and a curious servant of nature. A true scientist runs experiments, or asks questions and tries to get nature to provide some answers.
But modern doctors, medical researchers, drug company executives, and FDA bureaucrats think they've conquered nature. They have egos so big it's amazing they can walk through doors. They think they are better than nature. |

Can This Really Be true?
After reading the list of ingredients from AAFCO for the first time and not really believing that such ingredients could be used in pet food, I sent a fax to the chair of AAFCO to inquire, "Would the 'Feed Ingredient Definitions' apply to pet food as well as livestock feed?" The reply was as follows: "The feed ingredient definitions approved by AAFCO apply to all animal feeds, including pet foods, unless specific animal species restrictions are noted."7 AAFCO confirmed what I hoped was not true. |

I believe this is true at the FDA, where the bureaucrats make decisions that override the good sense of the FDA's drug safety scientists. This was true at Enron, where a few greedy executives padded their pockets at the expense of investors and workers. I believe it's also true at Merck, where a few top executives are making the big decisions, while overlooking the positive intentions of the company's employees. But there's more to it than just that. It also has to do with the nature of the corporation itself, something that supersedes any intention of any individual employee or decision maker. |

Many people, when faced with these facts about domestic surveillance and the dangers of a police state society, simply cannot believe any of it is true. They naively think their government would never violate their rights. The U.S. government is here to protect the People, right?
It's an incredibly naive belief. To get the facts on how the U.S. government really treats its people, step back a few decades and look at the U.S. Civil Rights movement. |

Some break the mould and understand what true healing is all about. They just happen to have gone to medical school, too. You have to check these people out. Do not believe any doctors when they look at some x-ray or lab test and then say you have six months to live. This is a death sentence. If you believe it, your mind will make it true. That is how powerful the mind is over the body.
Once you submit to the authority of this fear, they have you trapped. |

Unfortunately for Big Pharma and the FDA, Charles Grassley (R-IA), a man concerned with true and meaningful safety reform, has gone through S1082 with a fine tooth comb. He has proposed 11 amendments to close the Big Pharma loopholes that Kennedy, Enzi, the FDA, and Big Pharma built into this legislation. Big Pharma and the FDA hate all 11 Grassley amendments and Big Pharma has its legion of lobbyists trying to defeat them as you read this. Support the Grassley amendments for true and meaningful safety reform.

Knowing the true history of Coca-Cola and Pepsi (click here to read the unauthorized history of Coca-Cola), it's no surprise that these two companies would find a way to dishonestly market bottled water products, too. Failing to disclose the real source of these bottled water products is, in my view, an inexcusable lapse in corporate responsibility. I have no doubt that whatever products these two companies may market in the future, they will always be marketed in a way that is dishonst, harmful to human health and damaging to the environment. |
