So if you're interested in sharing a solution or two with the world, come check out InFiveSteps.com, our community-focused solution website where real people like you are posting solutions that help make the world a better place.
There's absolutely no fee or membership required. We pay for the operations and promotion of the site with the Google ads that appear on the site (and thankfully, these ads seem to make more sense than the typical Google ads on NewsTarget, which are often way off topic and sometimes promote the very thing we're warning readers against). |
| And along with your solution, you're able to include a bio section about yourself or your organization where you can link to (and publicize) any book, product, website, blog or organization that's relevant to the solution. So if you've wanted to reach the natural health community and get greater visibility for the things you support, this is the perfect vehicle!
Here's an example of a reader, Kristen O'Donnell, who posted her own "natural living" solution while publicizing a link to her health food store: http://www.infivesteps.com/Live_Naturally_Five_Steps_0. |

Sustaining cardiac energy metabolism may be a problem, but it's also the solution. Energy-sustaining nutrients that can recharge our batteries, like coenzyme Qiq, L-carnitine, D-ribose, and even the common mineral magnesium—provide physicians, especially cardiologists, with natural alternative tools that will help improve the quality of their patients' lives.
By supporting the production of ATP, which provides the energy foundation of life, this "awesome foursome" of nutrients can also help those suffering from chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, as well as athletes and weekend warriors. |
| I received a call from his desperate mother after she had come across my previous edition of The Sinatra solution. In her quest to save her son's life she called me to see if I would talk to her son's cardiologist about nutraceutical support for the heart including coenzyme Cho, magnesium, carnitine and D-ribose. As you shall soon see, these four crucial supplements have saved many of my patients from the failing, nutrient-starved hearts I've treated.
Hoping I could make a difference, I left a message with the doctor's staff. Days went by. No call back. |
| Physicians who embrace therapies that sustain mitochondrial defense will provide a metabolic cardiological solution for their patients. They will be practicing an exciting new phase of integrative cardiology that will determine the quality of millions of people's lives.
I believe that the time has come for traditional medicine to listen to the demands of the public.
People are literally screaming for orthodox physicians to open their minds to complementary methods. This approach is integrative: strategic medicine at its best. |
| The loss of carnitine in the dialysate (dialysis solution) may result in carnitine deficiency, setting the stage for the development of cardiac arrhythmias. When patients undergo renal dialysis, the small carnitine molecule is quite readily lost or "washed out" by the dialysate. The kidney is the major site of carnitine biosynthesis, so a diseased kidney is a threat to carnitine production. We have to be mindful that a diseased kidney may not synthesize enough carnitine. |

The industry refuses to educate black women about the real reasons why their cancers are more severe than white women, and it simultaneously refuses to teach black women the simple, natural solution to breast cancer prevention that can reduce national breast cancer rates by over 75 percent."
Adams backs up his assertions with charts from the National Cancer Institute as well as considerable research into the effects of vitamin D on the halting of cancer tumor growth. |

How's that for a natural solution? Nature's soap can save the planet from man's soap.
The bottom line: Nature's replacement for manufactured soap products
Overall, I'm incredibly delighted to have discovered Maggie's Soap Nuts. They're nature's gift to the world, and we would all be smart to stop buying manufactured laundry detergents and switch to natural laundry soaps that grow on trees. It's good for your health, your family and your environment. |

In my heart, I know that the technology you're talking about is the solution to this. Raw foods are the solution to these issues.
Wolfe: We know the solutions to our problems. This is very important for people to understand, and if you're in this field for a long enough time -- not just the field of raw foods, but just alternative health and nutrition, and even alternative lifestyles -- you do realize that all the solutions have been found. They're not implemented because either people don't know enough about it or spiritual entrepreneurs haven't gotten behind it. |

That's why the focus is on the authors, and each author gets their own page highlighting all the items they've posted, along with their bio and recommended links or resources.
For example, author Kristen O'Donnell's page is found at: http://www.infivesteps.com/Author_Kristen_ODonnell.html
(She currently only has one solution posted, but if she posts more, they will be added to this page. |

Now, let me tell you my Sinatra solution for each specific situation. As you will see, when I recommend a range of nutrients, it's best to take each daily dose as two or three divided doses throughout the day. For example, if the recommended dose for a supplement is a range from 90-150 mg, the dose can be divided accordingly into three 30-50 mg doses. Please remember it's best to dose after meals. L-carnitine, however, can be taken on an empty stomach or when combined with other supplements in sophisticated delivery systems, as is often the case with coenzyme Q10. |

The solution is not more chemicals. The solution is to change the paradigm and get back to nutrition, healthy foods and disease prevention while getting the poisonous ingredients out of our food supply. If we don't do that, we're going to continue to be a society of violent criminals and degenerates -- a society of people who don't have good cognitive function and who are chemically dependant on a system of medicine that is actually killing them at a rate that makes the Vietnam War look like a Boy Scout skirmish in the woods.
That's the truth about modern medicine today. |

When I first saw these soap nuts, I got really excited about the possibility of publicizing an eco-friendly solution that could replace all the manufactured laundry products currently being bought by consumers. So I decided to financially support the Maggie's Soap Nuts company by buying a large number of her soap nut products and stocking them in our Phoenix fulfillment center. They're now available for you to purchase (at a very reasonable price, by the way) at www.BetterLifeGoods. |

Perhaps a new remote backup solution will appear in time, and I'll be glad to give it a whirl, but so far, I haven't found a remote backup solution that really works.
For now, your best bet is probably to buy an external hard drive, copy your files to it, and mail it to a friend who can keep it in a safe place. It's reliable, easy to figure out, and there's no monthly fee involved. |

Politicians and power brokers are counting on this disease to pay some salaries, make some profit, pocket some cash and to keep them in office because when there's a health care crisis going on, somebody can always get elected by promising a solution, regardless of whether or not that solution makes any sense.
Any real solution to health care must involve addressing health; any solution that addresses health must challenge the status quo; any solution that challenges the status quo will be viciously attacked by the interests that already hold positions of power and profit in our nation. |

Here s a quick solution if you work in a place where you can refrigerate these simple ingredients. If you work from a car or a truck, this lunch is as close as the deli counter at a supermarket—or you can store the cheese and meat in a cooler.
3 slices deli cheese, such as light Swiss 3 slices deli turkey, chicken, beef, or ham mustard
On a plate or a paper towel, lay out two or three slices of cheese. On top of each one, place a slice of turkey, chicken, beef, or ham. Squeeze a little mustard on top of the meat, then fold the cheese and meat between your fingers. |
| In The Food-Mood solution, I tackle a variety of these more common mood problems, including
• Anger and hostile behavior
• Tension and anxiety
• Irritability and impatience
• Impulsive and distractible habits
• Fatigue and fuzzy thinking
• Stress and sleep problems
• Alcohol and drug abuse
This book is different from all the other food-mood books in another important way. |
| For many people, the only solution was to start another day with coffee.
Marketing through Anxiety
Still other factors have contributed to our feelings of stress. In recent years, people have developed an unusually high level of general anxiety—a vague sense of nervousness, jumpiness, and fear—which places further demands on our neurotransmitters. This anxiety goes beyond how the threat of crime or terrorism has affected our lives. |
| Randy Finds a solution for Violent Behavior
Randy had been a problem child. When he was three years old, he was stepping on insects and at age four killed the family's pet cat. He expressed absolutely no remorse to his parents (whom he threatened to kill), and psychological therapy failed to improve his behavior. By age fourteen, after being arrested for fighting, he was incarcerated in a residential facility for violent juveniles.
Although officials were skeptical, they allowed Randy's parents to have him evaluated at a nutritional medicine center. |
| Spock frequently found the solution to problems by separating his thinking from his emotions.
Detachment is a powerful way to protect your boundaries and avoid a lot of emotional anguish. The essence of detachment is not to react emotionally. You don't have to be as aloof as Mr. Spock, and you can express some empathy. By restraining your emotions, however, you're less likely to arouse emotional reactions on the part of other people.
One detachment technique requires reframing how you see another person's words and actions: don't take his or her words personally. |
| The solution is to reshuffle your priorities and decide what to do first, second, and third.
Granted, it's not always easy to realign your priorities at work and home, especially if your boss wants to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. To shuffle your priorities, you must take a moment to consider what you're doing and must be willing to make some changes. And for many people, changing their routines is uncomfortable, if not a little scary.

Its representation of changes in mountain-induced rainfall in Scotland will therefore be somewhat less than accurate.
One solution is to embed a regional climate model with much higher resolution inside the global model. Many of the papers cited so far in this book operate on this principle. In order to accurately resolve hurricanes, for instance, which have powerful eyes commonly only a few kilometres across, modellers need to 'nest' a regional model (with a high-resolution grid spacing of only 9 kilometres) within a global model. |

Then, mix some thyme or oregano oil into tea tree oil, put the solution on a cotton ball and then tape the cotton ball directly onto the toenail. Garlic, turmeric, cinnamon bark, clove, tulsi and neem may also be used as part of your antifungal herbal oil.
These treatments help heal athlete's foot and toenail fungus externally, but it is important to treat the problem internally, as well. Again, stay away from refined sugar, as refined sugar turns your body into an environment in which fungus thrives. |
| To make things worse, the antidepressant drugs that are often prescribed to children further interfere with blood sugar metabolism, worsening the blood sugar problem that is really the root of the problem in the first place. The solution here is not to put children on drugs but rather to change their diets.
Once a child gets off of refined sugars and stops drinking soft drinks and eating white flour, the so-called behavioral symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder disappear in 80 percent of those children within two weeks. |
| Chewing a gum containing xylitol like Spry, or chewing on parsley is a great in-between meals solution, especially if you are eating healthy foods like raw garlic. Just be sure the gum you choose has no sugar in it.

| Antibiotics are no long-term solution, and they may, in fact, make the situation worse. The key is to reduce the consumption of sugars and then use natural herbs and remedies that treat urinary tract infections—like cranberries. Cranberries really do work to eliminate UTIs. In order for cranberries to work, however, you have to consume them in high potency and for a sufficient duration. |
