Burt: We use a little stevia in it. We also have a little of organic soymilk in there. That, of course, adds a little sweetness to it. It has some organic cane juice in it. Per serving, it only has one gram of sugar.
Mike: That's fantastic. Really for children you have to have that great taste even if you have to have a little bit of evaporated cane juice in there to make it go down.
Burt: It does. I think especially for children, the name of the game is getting it past their nose and having them drink it.
Mike: Most children can burn that off in the next five minutes anyway. |

The researchers say, "All we need is a little more money. We're close now! We'll find the cure now!" When you look at the finances of some of these organizations, it's no wonder they're not finding a cure: very little of the money they raise goes to funding research programs in the first place.
Some charities spend very little money actually helping people
Take the National Cancer Center. For every dollar this foundation raises, only 29 cents goes to fund actual programs. (Source: http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm/bay/search.summary/orgid/4946. |

Until the late 1990s little work had been done on vegetation structure, ecology, and ethnobotany.
A major lacuna in our knowledge of the Ecuadorian border region has to do with the rich shamanic lore found here, which has received little attention from anthropologists. Based upon 10 field trips to the southern side of the border in the late 1980s, Peruvian anthropologist Lupe Camino'71 has postulated a "health axis" of Andean ethnomedicine stretching from Loja, Ecuador in the highlands to the coastal desert of the Department of Piura in Northern Peru. |

Now, you might need a little of this and a little bit of that to make yourself feel satisfied, or whatever is personally amenable to your metabolism.
Ultimately, a big part of your diet -- when it's all said and done -- has got to be raw, organic and plant-based -- and that's the goal of having this conversation.
Mike: Do you think that people should attempt to grow their own food?
Wolfe: As much as possible. Nothing tastes better than your own food, you know. I just flipped open to a random page in a book by Johann von Goethe -- the great German philosopher. |

To enhance the range of motion of joints in your body, you are going to have to push the envelope a little bit -- try to move those shoulders a little more and unlock those hip joints a little more, because none of these ingredients are going to do the work for you. They do, however, create a much better situation in terms of lessening the pain. They lessen the inflammation, making it easier for you to follow a body movement discipline such as Tai Chi. (Note: be sure to work with a physical therapist or other qualified health care practitioner before engaging in any new exercise program. |

They were selling chlorella in these little tablets, and for years and years in little granules. Then the capsules came out. These products were good, but people were not getting the amounts they needed.
To get that detoxification effect you need to have enough of it. I decided I was going to get some powder. Then everyone was worried about dealing with powder, and it is kind of messy. It is green and I love it. If I have a green mustache it's all right with me.
Mike: Better that than a milk mustache.
Dr. Liers: That is right, much better. |

Feed him some couscous -- my dog loves it, with a little bit of butter on it. It is not so bad, as long as it's being fed within the weight limit of the dog.
If you're feeding your dog the healthy choices off your table and your pet gains a little weight -- just like you would if you were overeating -- you have to cut back a little bit. It is not going to hurt him if it is good quality food. As a matter of fact, even though I think I have the best pet food on the market, I still recommend that people cook for their pets at home. |

If there really is an alternate universe somewhere, and intelligent beings from that place are watching us right now, they probably have an itchy finger on the big red button, and they're asking each other, "Do we let this experiment run a little longer, or have we seen enough?"
If it were not for all the psychologically impactful television ads, authority-driven pronouncements from the FDA and distorted science from smart-sounding (but bought off) researchers, very little of what's going on in medicine today would be considered reasonable at all. |

In an industry where so many other protein products are little more than over-hyped junk, the Jay Robb line of products is refreshingly authentic.
Being a person who eats very little meat (and never red meat), I use Jay Robb's products myself to add protein to my diet. I personally prefer the egg white protein, since I consume no dairy products (including whey), but for those who consume dairy, you can't go wrong choosing Jay Robb's whey protein products.
Five stars. Enthusiastically recommended. Check it out at www.JayRobb. |

Many were Nazi soldiers in a former life, and they wield way too much power for their fragile little egos. They live their days in a state of constant boredom, hoping for that one moment of excitement when they get to make an arrest, handcuff someone, or rough them up a little just to show them who's in charge.
Goons, grunts and Nazi wannabees

There will be a little bit of haggling in the conference committee, as Big Pharma will takes its last chance at watering down any meaningful reform (of which there is very little). Big Pharma will whine that this legislation is too tough on them, which is a fallacy. This legislation is the Big Pharma dream come true. In a football analogy the only question is the final score. Will Big Pharma win by 28-7 or will it win by 42-7. Big Pharma has just cleaned the clock of Americans. We should not forget the gutless Congressional puppets that made it happen.

They seem to care little about the health or the happiness of the animal, and instead treat it like a product. The low quality standards placed on animal feed by these "farmers" prove that little consideration is being taken towards the animal or the consumer.
For example, some of the "ingredients" commonly used in animal factory feed include: (think hard about this list the next time you order a hamburger...)
Excessive grains -- Abnormally high amounts can make the animals sick, especially natural grass eaters like cattle. |

| A careful look at the history of the FDA shows it is little more than a bully that protects vested interests at the expense of human health. It is a pitiful agency. It is little wonder than the majority of Americans don't trust the FDA.
Big Pharma owns the FDA and Congress. The drug industry sees FDA management and Congressional leaders as a training pool for future Big Pharma jobs -- based on how well Big Pharma is supported. There will certainly be plenty of rewards to pass out after this legislation becomes law. |

Alternatively, pre-soak your cotton sack containing two soap nuts in a little hot water to release the saponin. After a couple minutes of soaking, add the mixture to the cold-water wash.
Do I have to remove the Maggie's Soap Nuts from the washing machine during the rinse cycle?
No need to remove the soap nuts from the rinse cycle. There's no soapy residue to rinse away! The little bit of saponin left in the rinse adds softness and body to your clothes.
Are Maggie's Soap Nuts hypoallergenic?
Yes! Maggie's Soap Nuts are 100% natural, safe and hypoallergenic. |

Follow it a little or a lot
You want to know something else truly incredible about Juice Feasting? You can follow it a little or a lot. You could be eating steak, pizza, McDonald's Big Macs and straberry shakes, and yet you'd still benefit tremendously from drinking just one quart of Juice Feasting juice per day. You could even be smoking cigarettes and still slash your cancer risk in a huge way by following Juice Feasting. |

Even the local Javelina don't eat aloe, and they're hungry little monsters who will eat practically anything. Once I tossed the rind of a canteloupe in my back yard, and a group of javelina came along and ate the whole thing. They also love carrots, by the way, and will destroy any sort of vegetable garden you try to plant in the desert. They're lovable little creatures, but they have poor table manners: They'll root out anything edible and leave you with nothing more than a mound of dirt.)
What about the price?
This highly-concentrated aloe vera gel isn't cheap. Not by the ounce, at least. |

To me that is still a little bit unbelievable.
When I was doing a design project for an all-in-one meal replacement, we were trying to get everything you would need, but essential fatty acids are hard to get in one of those kinds of products. Flax is too big and would oxidize. I did not want to grind the flax down, because that would make the product have a shorter shelf life. Then chia came along. These little seeds fit beautifully into the matrix of the powders. You could chew on it. You could eat it. It did not settle or sift out. It was kind of a perfect mix. |
