REPPED: Consumer health advocate Mike Adams (aka "The Health Ranger") has a beef against shoppers buying processed meat this christmas. And to show people exactly what they're getting when they purchase processed meat products, he's posted a shockingly disgusting photo tour of a typical processed meat christmas gift product: The 48-Oz. Hillshire Farm "Yard-O-Beef" Summer Sausage. The photos are available online right now at: http://www.newstarget.com/phototour_yardobeef_1. |

Christmas!"
Whatever you do, don't actually eat the thing. Unless, of course, you want to spend half the next calendar year working off the extra body fat you've stored over the christmas holiday season. Fruitcakes go right to your belly (men) or hips (women), and they stick there like frozen reindeer snot, refusing to budge until the Spring thaw.
Of course, there's always the conformist approach to this whole thing, which involves -- gasp! -- eating the fruitcake. If it's a homemade fruitcake made with whole grains, organic fruits and non-refined sugar, I'd probably eat it too. |

Boycott Processed Meat Products
Adams urges all shoppers to boycott processed meat products this christmas season, opting instead for eco-friendly, all-natural gifts such as superfoods from companies like www.Sunfood.com or www.TransitionNutrition.com or www.GoodCauseWellness.com
Adams also reminds consumers that if they give gifts made of processed meats, they are indirectly giving people an increased risk of pancreatic cancer and colon cancer. "Giving someone a gift of processed meat is actually more like a curse than a gift," Adams said. |

“Santa is doing great,” said Adams. “He’s tapped into the healing potential that exists within all of us, and he’s conquered a health condition that’s challenging, but curable.” Adams encouraged the children receiving christmas presents from Santa to follow Santa’s example in leading a healthier, happier lifestyle by avoiding processed, sugary foods and enjoying the freedom and health that comes from engaging in regular exercise.
“In beating his diabetes through nutrition and exercise, Santa has set a commendable example for all of us,” Adams said. |

Far too predictable -- where's the christmas spirit in that? Much better to return that fruitcake to your neighbor with special "air" delivery via a homemade catapult. Or wedge it behind the rear tire of that sun-beaten RV they've had parked in their driveway since 1982.
A fruitcake is like an artist's canvas -- it holds endless possibilities for amusement. If you actually receive a fruitcake as a gift, thank the gift giver for your new "decoration" and hang it on your front door instead of a christmas wreathe. |
| Anyone disliked enough to have actually received a fruitcake for christmas may redeem their dignity by subjecting that sugary loaf to a far more interesting use than merely eating it or throwing it away.
Actually eating a fruitcake is too easy. You get a fruitcake, you eat it. Far too predictable -- where's the christmas spirit in that? | REPPED: For as long as I can remember, the christmas fruitcake has been a terrific source of holiday humor. I've never actually eaten a fruitcake, but I've seen lots of them, including one that I'm pretty sure was made with gummy bears. It's not just the name that's hilarious ("Fruit" and "Cake" don't belong in the same food item), but the physical appearance, too, which looks something like the injection molding for some kind of crude landmine.
Receiving a fruitcake for christmas may be the ultimate insult. |

I have treadmill that some thoughtful christmas fans bought for me, and now I'm finally putting it to good use," Santa told NewsTarget. In a series of emails, Santa explained that he is now walking on the treadmill for thirty minutes, twice a day. "Although the first day was very difficult, I'm already feeling more energy now, and the walking is getting a bit easier," Santa said. |

Santa brightened up considerably when Richards told him to focus on having a "Berry Merry christmas." Santa was told to have a cup of fresh blueberries every other day. On his off days he was to eat blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries. To increase variety Santa was advised to also include cherries and pomegranate.
Richards explained that while these fresh fruits contained natural sugar, their healing power is found in their deeply-colored pigments. |
| REPPED: Earlier this month, Santa Claus went public with his diagnosis of type-2 diabetes and asked for the help of nutritionists to teach him how to overcome the blood sugar disorder before christmas. NewsTarget has now learned that Santa has already begun a course of nutritional therapy designed to reverse his diabetic condition.
"I am committed to regaining my health in a safe, natural way that does not make me dependent on prescription medications," Santa told NewsTarget. "I am now working with a team of top nutritionists to get rid of all the diabetes-promoting foods in my pantry. |

"Santa, I know how enticing all those cookies can be, but you need to focus on your long-term goals," Connie says. "If you continue to chomp on those well-meaning culinary gifts, you could endanger your life. Before you put those green-or-red-glittered cookies in your mouth, just think about those children all over the world who rely on you each and every year. Focusing on your greater good can help you to keep from falling off the wagon, so to speak."

And for God's sake don't leave it out for Santa Claus on christmas Eve! The guy just got over his diabetes problem and the last thing he needs is a massive sugar jolt while making his rounds. Have you ever tried to give yourself an insulin injection while bouncing along in a sleigh pulled by a team of hoofed animals? I think not... |

REPPED: What's christmas without leaving those green-glittered cookies for Santa Claus? Well, all those sweets have a hefty price tag. Today, NewsTarget has learned that the jovial, rotund Mr. Claus has been diagnosed with type-2 diabetes. But the generous gift-giver is determined to change his sedentary, sugary ways.
In an exclusive interview and follow-up e-mails to NewsTarget, Santa Claus said that he was searching for a natural solution to his health condition. |

But with christmas fast approaching, Dave and Dot decided he should remain at home at least until after New Year's Day. "Christmas was a big thing to Steve, and Helen was coming home from the university for the holidays, anyway," Dot recollected. "There was a set formula: a real tree with lights on, a particular menu for christmas. Out of all of us, he was the one who had to have all these things done. But in fact, he fell asleep halfway through christmas dinner. He hardly ate anything. He was on another planet, really. He just didn't know what was happening." A pair of fuzzy gorilla slippers ? |

For many people, feelings of stress and anxiety peak between Thanksgiving and christmas because of family and shopping pressures, long lines in stores, and traffic jams (combined with dietary lapses). The result is that the christmas season brings out the worst in our behavior— irritability, rudeness, and pushiness—not the cherished qualities of giving and tolerance.
In this chapter, I describe a variety of anxiety-related mood and behavior problems, as well as nutrition and lifestyle changes to lessen them. |

The seller advised keeping the plant outdoors in the summer, then bring it inside in the fall, and it would flower just after christmas. She did not know the name of the plant, and although I was familiar with the leaves, I did not know what kind of plant it was nor did anyone else I asked. It hung in my garden all summer and in the late fall
I brought it in and stood it in a planter in my living room. Shortly after christmas it began to bloom clusters of small red flowers. |

The Thanksgiving leftovers seemed to last right up to the time we started pounding down eggnog while trimming the christmas tree. Then the real nightmare began when my wife started with her long-standing tradition of making a thousand christmas cookies. There were peanut butter cookies, chocolate covered chocolate chip cookies, jam-filled cookies and sugar-coated, pecan cookies. I am sure I must have eaten more than 100 cookies over a two-week period, and as always during the holiday season, there were a variety of other temptations that didn't help matters. |

The pear tree was immortalized alongside a partridge in the eighteenth-century christmas carol "The Twelve Days of christmas." An attempt at planting the first pear tree in the northeastern American colonies failed due to a poor growing climate in 1620. Pear trees did much better farther west in Oregon and Washington and have flourished there since the 1800s.

Superfoods are especially important around the christmas season because so many people are eating so much garbage foods that they desperately need a boost in nutrition. That's why I strongly recommend that if you're going to be some food items as gifts, jump in and get these superfood gifts instead. It will make a world of difference in THEIR health and YOUR credibility. You'll literally be giving the gift of health instead of disease! Goji berries, by the way, are considered the "longevity berry" in Chinese medicine.

A local rancher named Stephen Hunt was only thirty-eight years old when he walked into the emergency room at Redding Medical Center just before christmas in 2001, complaining of blurry vision in one eye. Hunt knew he had high blood pressure, but he was shocked when Moon told him he needed immediate bypass surgery—that he could suffer a heart attack and die on his way back to his car. Moon also told him there just happened to be an opening in the hospital's operating schedule on christmas Eve. Hunt went ahead with the surgery. |
