The Field - The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe

Lynne Mctaggart

A tall, thin presence with a pronounced, angular intensity, his hair heavily receded on either side of an exaggerated widow's peak, Schmidt was in the happy circumstance of being employed to pursue pure research in the boeing laboratory, whether or not it was connected to aerospace development. boeing was in a lull in its fortunes. The aerospace giant had come up with the supersonic but had shelved it, and hadn't yet invented the 747, so Schmidt had time on his hands. An idea slowly began taking shape.
By 1970, the year before Mitchell's moon walk, boeing suffered a setback in profits and needed to cut back sharply on staff. Schmidt, along with hundreds of others, was one of its casualties. boeing had been such a key source of R&D jobs in the area that without the aerospace giant, there was virtually no work to be had. A sign at the border of Seattle read, 'Will the last one to leave Seattle please turn off the lights?' Schmidt made his third and final career move. He would continue on with his consciousness research, a physicist among parapsychologists.
Eventually, in 1989, they went with boeing, which was interested in their tiny radar device and planned to fund its development on the back of a large project. The project languished for a couple of years, and then boeing lost the funding. Most of the other companies demanded a full-scale prototype before they would fund the project. Hal decided to set up his own company to develop the X-ray device. He got halfway along that route before it occurred to him that he was about to take an unwelcome detour.

Stonecipher, had been forced to resign after admitting to an affair with a female boeing executive. His predecessor, Philip M. Condit, had also been forced to resign in 2003 because of ethical problems, including affairs with employees, and Mr. Stonecipher had come in to remedy these problems. The New York Times reported, "The resignation was requested by Boeing's board after an investigation by internal and external lawyers." Lewis Piatt, the chairman of boeing, said that he had ordered the investigation after he received an anonymous tip. Mr.

Some people over at Fox News insist they see a boeing 757 in these video frames. And why not? I once saw the Virgin Mary on a Mexican tortilla. Years ago, I thought I saw Jay Leno on a pancake (before I ate it, that is). People tend to see what they are told to see, or what they're familiar with. Some folks see letters of the alphabet carved into rocks on Mars. The great national Rorschach inkblot I have a question for these people: If they can see a boeing 757 in a blurry video frame, why can't they see the far clearer face of a demon rising out of the smoke from the WTC tower?

She worked her way up to become an analyst for boeing, the aircraft manufacturer, and, by many accounts, did the work of a far more educated engineer. Her family says she was a complicated, rather private woman, who found great joy in her daughters and three grandchildren. She had an infectious laugh, they say, and drove them crazy with the snapshots she took at family gatherings. She loved to listen to the piano and was fond of cross-stitch needlework and reading historical novels, including Tolstoy's War and Peace. Virginia was five years older than Rosemary.

Through all his changes of country and career, Schmidt pondered the meaning of the article, as though something in him knew that it was central to his life's direction even before he was consciously aware of it. Every so often he would engage in a bit more reflection, take out the article in his mind's eye and examine it in the light, turning it this way and that, before filing it away again, a bit of unfinished business he wasn't yet sure how to tend to.

Quite apart from reducing lighting-related energy use by up to 90 percent (and recouping their outlay in less than two years), product quality improved. Why? With this green consciousness, an added bonus was the technology for light itself was better, and workers also were able to more clearly spot defects in aircraft they were constructing.

Besides, don't you think that if a boeing 757 had been clearly caught on tape smashing into the Pentagon, Fox News would be showing the video with non-stop repetition like it did with the twin towers tapes? If videos existed that bolstered the government's story, you can bet they'd be circulating. Or maybe, just maybe, they're holding them back in preparation for a grand public announcement intended to embarrass conspiracy theorists. Or perhaps they need more time to Photoshop the video frames. Either way, we'll probably never know.

Using the same straw man argument, the mainstream media leaps to the outrageous conclusion that a few blurry Pentagon video frames dispel all 9-11 conspiracy theories and magically explain everything. If a boeing 757 hit the Pentagon, the thinking goes, then WTC 7 wasn't demolished with explosive charges, either. I know, it makes no sense, but since when did fear mongering and war marketing have to make any sense? Now maybe I'm wrong about the Pentagon.
I've come to the conclusion that the only way to see a boeing 757 in the frames released so far is to hallucinate it. Americans are good a hallucinating, especially when such hallucinations are demanded by the mainstream media. Drugged up on fluoride and medications, about half the American population will see anything you tell them to see, as long as it is consistent with current cultural mythology.
The great national Rorschach inkblot I have a question for these people: If they can see a boeing 757 in a blurry video frame, why can't they see the far clearer face of a demon rising out of the smoke from the WTC tower? Click here to see the demon face picture (scroll down the page after you click). For the record, this demon face is just a coincidental image made of smoke and shadows. You can spot demons, or butterflies, or faces, or practically anything if you spend enough time looking at natural phenomena like smoke, rocks, water or even tree bark.

Maybe those Pentagon video frames really do show a giant boeing 757 right smack in the middle of these frames, but my mind unconsciously deletes the jetliner every time I look at the them. These are all possibilities that must be considered. Some are more likely than others. But even if these video frames prove nothing, the big question remains: What could have hit the Pentagon and exploded in such an obvious fireball (which is clearly visible in the video frames)? The conspiracy theorists say it might have been a single-engine US Navy A3 SkyWarrior jet.

I realized that if any of this were true, it could cause a public meltdown of Pfizer's management team, much like the recent scandal at boeing that had forced the CEO's resignation. I also sensed that if Pfizer knew that I knew, they might just handle me more carefully. But I had a few concerns; I didn't want to expose any of the people who had helped me learn about this. Also, I knew firsthand how untrue such rumors can be. Finally, to bring up this kind of issue felt unsavory.
