They believe that the FDA should have even more power over consumers, and that the american people should be treated as medical guinea pigs, involuntarily taking part in a massive drug experiment called, "Test the drugs on the population." Any real safety issues will only be dealt with after the fact -- after they've killed hundreds of thousands more Americans.
Chemical warfare against the American people
With the passage of S.1082 and the emboldening of the FDA and Big Pharma, a war has been declared on the american people, and it is far more dangerous than any terrorist action. |

The FDA represents an imminent threat to the health and safety of the american people, and its actions are far more dangerous to Americans than all the terrorists in the world. Statistically speaking, even a nuclear bomb going off in a major U.S. city would not equal the number of deaths caused by the FDA in just the last five years. This is an agency that is, without question, an enemy of the american people and a purveyor of death and disease.
Think about this: In a nation where telling the truth is a crime, power belongs to those who enforce the censorship. |

Where control of the money supply is returned to the american people, then protected with a gold standard so that savings can never again be stolen from the american people by the Federal Reserve.
Where wars are ended, troops are brought home, and the international reputation of the United States of America is restored.
Where out-of-control debt spending is halted, the national debt is steadily reduced, and fiscal sanity is returned to Washington.
Where powerful corporations no longer have control over our President. |

And while the american people get sicker, the drug companies, insurance companies and many health "care" providers (it's really more like "sick care providers") are rolling in cash. Drug companies are now among the richest corporations in the world, and they got there by inventing fictitious diseases, then selling drugs to people who mostly don't need them. See my CounterThink cartoon, Disease Mongers, Inc. to learn more about this topic.
Meanwhile, the american people are the most diseased people in the world among advanced nations. |

The FDA, it turns out, simply wants to keep the american people enslaved to Big Pharma and ignorant of their natural health options.
If elected, Ron Paul would introduce desperately-needed reforms that would help restore genuine health freedoms to the american people. |

So don't expect any real action on protecting the american people from known poisons in the food, water and dental industries.
Democratics and Republicans, you see, don't really fight over whether the american people should be poisoned or not. They simply fight about who should be in power while the poisoning takes place. Both parties ultimately support the powerful corporations that put them into office in the first place. |

Moore is an independent thinker who simply refuses to follow the crowd, and with this film, he's doing the job that the american people should have been doing all along -- questioning the sanity of our health care system. But sadly, the truth is that most Americans are sheeple who just follow the herd and do what they're told. A recent poll revealed that nearly 45% of Americans still trust the FDA! That's astounding, given that I've solidly established the Food and Drug Administration is far more dangerous to the health and safety of the american people than all the terrorists in the world. |

Same scam, different crop. The american people are once again being worked to death by greedy businessmen who only wish to increase the size of their own profits, regardless of how many people have to be exploited or destroyed along the way. And 49 U.S. Senators seem to whole-heartedly approve of this financial enslavement of the american people. They voted, on the record, to propel a profiteering price scheme operated by a criminal conspiracy masterminded by the FDA and Big Pharma. |
| Senators, many of our lawmakers have become adversaries of the people and are now openly fighting for the expansion of profits and power for mega-corporations while steamrolling the interests and freedoms of the american people. In a very real sense, they have openly betrayed the american people they claim to represent. They have devolved into corporate imperialists who aim to shore up their own power by sacrificing the interests of those they have sworn to protect -- the voters who gullibly put them into power in the first place. |

Big Pharma and the FDA, it seems, have declared war on the american people, and while the body bags keep mounting up, the best that Congress can come up with is blocking Big Pharma's attempts to acquire legal immunity from all drug deaths. That's not exactly progress.
Fascinating, isn't it? What's clear in this bill is that Big Pharma is still running Congress. Not entirely, though. Members of Congress have been able to desperately latch on to a couple of provisions in the bill in order to proclaim that they have worked diligently to protect the health and safety of the american people. |

This latest decision by the FDA to keep Avandia on the market, knowing full well that it will kill tens of thousands of Americans each year, is yet another example of the FDA's ongoing crimes against the american people (and its all-too-cozy relationship with drug companies). Once again, the FDA has sold us out, and the system of modern medicine has demonstrated itself to be an utter failure at preventing disease or protecting the lives of patients. |

REPPED: Despite its stated mission, "To promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health," the American Medical Association (AMA) has taken many missteps in protecting the health of the american people. One of the most striking examples is the AMA's long-term relationship with the tobacco industry.
Both the AMA and individual doctors sided with big tobacco for decades after the deleterious effects of smoking were proven. |

Congress is to creating a future of death, disease and bankruptcy for the american people. You gotta give 'em kudos on consistency, however. At least the lawmakers are predictable.
Welcome to the United States of Big Pharma.

The FDA is more dangerous to Americans than terrorism
As I have stated many times on this site, the FDA is a clear and present danger to the health and safety of the american people. The agency is so deeply entangled in protecting drug company profits and corporate interests that it has utterly abandoned its mission of protecting the people. Not a single person has presented a credible defense against these accusations. The FDA is indefensible.
China executed its top FDA official for corruption. I believe the U.S. should arrest and prosecute top FDA officials. |

The word "science" is simply used as a cover story for what's really going on behind the scenes -- a massive campaign of pro-drug propaganda, arm-twisting, public brainwashing, media control and regulatory failures that all add up to one thing: A system of medicine that is the greatest con ever perpetrated on the american people.
Where is the skepticism about conventional medicine?
Conventional medicine is almost entirely justified by truly bad science. |

It's just one more way in which the FDA continues to betray the american people and subject them to life-threatening ingredients that any honest Food and Drug Administration would have banned long ago. |

Meanwhile, the american people are the most diseased people in the world among advanced nations. We spend more on health care than anyone, we pay the highest prices for medications, and we're constantly told that we have the best medical technology in the world. But if our health care system is really so good, why do 50 million Americans have no health insurance? |

The mainstream media has failed the american people yet again. Rather than investigating the story and printing the truth, they have simply repeated misleading information put out by an organization with an obvious pro-pharma agenda. Some might say these media outlets know exactly what they're doing: They, too, earn billions of dollars each year from drug company advertisements. Perhaps they are just playing along with the false story, hoping to keep their advertisers happy by discrediting nutritional supplements through abuse of their power. |

How will SiCKO play?
I think SiCKO's timing is perfect, and I think the movie will be a significant factor in the upcoming 2008 elections. |
| It reveals the deep-rooted corruption in America's health care system and explains why the whole system was actually designed to deny health care to the american people.
I've been ranting about America's health care failures for years, and as I've consistently stated to the amazement of some, the health care corporations actually have a plan to keep people sick. There's no money in preventing disease, especially in the cancer industry. |

No federal agency attempts to hold the industry accountable for the harm it has caused the american people (100,000+ people killed each year by FDA-approved drugs), and nobody questions the pricing monopoly that now exists in the U.S. Technically, Big Pharma executives should be brought up under RICO Act criminal charges for racketeering, but that assumes there is actually a system of justice that works in this country, and there isn't. |

Challenging the status quo
This is precisely what makes Ron Paul the exception: He's willing to shake up the establishment and end the FDA's campaign of tyranny and oppression against the american people. At the same time, he's looking to dismantle the IRS, restore honesty to the U.S. money supply (requiring that the currency be backed by gold) and end our illegal war on Iraq and Afghanistan. |
| If elected, Ron Paul would introduce desperately-needed reforms that would help restore genuine health freedoms to the american people. This could dramatically improve the health of Americans, providing them with safer, more natural and far more affordable options for preventing cancer, lowering cholesterol, restoring healthy blood sugar levels, beating heart disease and enhancing their health and productivity through the use of honestly-labeled natural health products.
No other candidate in the running supports health freedom. |

Constitution and the american people that's going on every day in our nation's capitol.
So what can we do about it?
As citizens we have both the right and the responsibility to take our power and freedoms back from the hands of the corrupt, pro-war, fear-mongering tyrants who now operate it. I have consistently advocated non-violent protests and grassroots action campaigns that can work towards a better future for all Americans.
I believe that we must do everything in our power -- in a non-violent way -- to take back our freedoms, our privacy and our power. |

We must rise up and tell the truth while urging our representatives in Washington to resist the temptation to vote for more "anti-terrorism" legislation that only works to enslave the american people.
We must use our phones, faxes, emails and blogs to rally our friends, family members and anyone who will listen to oppose these police state laws, and we must organize mass (peaceful) protests against this government that is attempting to marginalize the rights and freedoms of our People. |

In my opinion, the 22 FDA panel members who voted to keep Avandia on the market should be arrested, prosecuted, and tried for their conspiracy involvement in this crime against the american people. I am not a proponent of the death sentence, so I would not support their execution (see the related CounterThink cartoon about executions in China), but force-feeding them high doses of Avandia sounds like a remarkably appropriate punishment for the harm they have unleashed upon this nation.
Today, following this FDA decision, America is less safe than it was yesterday, and the U.S. |
