Sweet deals: Agave nectar, Raw Revolution food bars are a steal at Amazon.com

Mike Adams, the Health Ranger

The customer comments on amazon.com are not kind to the Raw Revolution bars, but that's because too many people are expecting these bars to taste like candy bars. They're not candy bars, they're real food bars. And they taste like real food, without all the artificial flavors, chemical taste enhancers and factory processing. To me, that's an exciting taste, but to the average American, it's just too boring. Hence the low rating on amazon.com. But don't fall for it. If you're into health foods, I think you'll find these bars quite likable.

Big Brother U.S. Government Subpoenaed amazon.com to Obtain Book Purchasing Records of Customers

Mike Adams, the Health Ranger

Amazon.com is not any real deviation from the consistent behavior of the U.S. government today: It wants to gather information on the People, surveilling everyone and then selectively declaring who is a "criminal" and who isn't. Could it really be true? Many people, when faced with these facts about domestic surveillance and the dangers of a police state society, simply cannot believe any of it is true. They naively think their government would never violate their rights. The U.S. government is here to protect the People, right? It's an incredibly naive belief. To get the facts on how the U.
Amazon.com's records is little more than a drop in the bucket. It's just a tiny glimpse of the outright betrayal of the U.S. Constitution and the American People that's going on every day in our nation's capitol. So what can we do about it? As citizens we have both the right and the responsibility to take our power and freedoms back from the hands of the corrupt, pro-war, fear-mongering tyrants who now operate it. I have consistently advocated non-violent protests and grassroots action campaigns that can work towards a better future for all Americans.
You can get it, ironically, at amazon.com, the very online retailer where the feds were trying to snoop into customer records: Meanwhile, the Fed is pumping money into the economy in a desperate move to delay the inevitable popping of the massive U.S. debt bubble. It's buying up bad bank debt as fast as it can, much like a group of frantic sailors trying to bail water out of a rapidly sinking ship. Only a financial fool could look at the current situation and have any degree of confidence in the future of the U.S.
Gestapo police who wiretap their phones, surveil their e-mails and steal their amazon.com book purchasing records. If you believe in freedom at all, there's only one candidate to vote for: Ron Paul. Sure, Paul has some downsides. He's not up to speed on global warming and the role of governments in aggressively regulating corporations. I don't agree with Paul on everything. But for the core issues -- war, the money supply, taxation, health freedom -- he's so right on that there's simply no other candidate that even comes close.
Amazon.com seeking to obtain the identities of customers purchasing books through the Amazon marketplace. The snooping attempt was blocked by U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephen Crocker who wrote in a recently-unsealed ruling, "Well-founded or not, rumors of an Orwellian federal criminal investigation into the reading habits of Amazon's customers could frighten countless potential customers into canceling planned online book purchases." Is the U.S. government trying to profile the psychology of its citizens by secretly data mining their book purchasing habits?
This attempt at acquiring amazon.com book records is just the latest round in an ongoing campaign of secret police tactics being used against the American people by its own government... a government that was once created "Of the People, By the People and For the People" but now seems a lot more interested in terrorizing the people through fear-based politics and war mongering propaganda. This is no conspiracy theory, it's present-day Amerika None of this is "fringe" information or conspiracy theory guesswork.

Hence the low rating on amazon.com. But don't fall for it. If you're into health foods, I think you'll find these bars quite likable. However, if you're expecting these to taste like Snickers bars, forget it. These aren't candy, they're real nutrition. They don't taste like sugar. Other interesting items... As you shop for these items, you'll also see some related items such as SmartMonkey bars, PURE Bars and the Zico coconut water drink. Each of these is also highly recommended and will be mentioned in upcoming feature articles and product reviews.
If you can't get the link to work, just go to amazon.com and search for "wholesome sweeteners agave" They also have a larger size available: Six 23.5-ounce bottles for just $26.25. That's what I purchased. If you have the Amazon Prime membership ($75 a year) and you're in the U.S., you get free shipping on all this, too. New Raw Revolution Bars The next "steal" I spotted is a steep discount on a new raw food bar that's so outstanding, I've written it up in a feature story to be published later this week.
It's interesting that amazon.com is now offering these health food items at such good prices. It's not what I expected, but I'm glad to see it. While I always support local health food stores and natural food retailers, when internet retailers put together deals this good, it's worth paying attention. Coming soon: More detailed reviews of the new raw food bars.
REPPED: I've found two incredible deals on health food items at Amazon.com's new gourmet grocery section, and I want to pass these on to you. We don't make anything off these links, but they could save you a bundle. (Deals were accurate as of August 28, 2006. If you're reading this after that date, prices and availability may have changed.) A steal on agave nectar This is the best price I've seen yet on agave nectar. As you probably know, agave nectar is emerging as the new sweetener of choice both for health-conscious people and diabetics.

Amazon.com's extraordinary emphasis on the user experience drives their continued success

This is just an honest review of a company that I think deserves some accolades for doing online retailing right, and I will continue to give amazon.com the majority of my online purchasing business as long as they continue to offer the products I'm looking for and continue to give me the information that will help me make well-informed purchasing decisions.
If you add something to your shopping cart today and then you go back to amazon.com four months later, that item will still be there. That's a very smart move on their part, and it's a feature I use all the time. I will often see products that interest me, so I'll put those items in the shopping cart and save them up for one larger order made up of multiple products. Many online retailers are flat-out incompetent in their use of shopping-cart technology. They will actually delete your shopping cart within minutes if you don't complete your order right away.
It has to take a guess based on its inventory to try to find what it thinks you want, and given that the amazon.com catalog contains millions of products -- spanning categories like home and kitchen, hardware, books, videos and even consumer electronics -- the fact that the search function brings back almost exactly what you're looking for nearly every single time is an impressive accomplishment. It's one of those behind-the-scenes features that most users don't really value for its achievements.
The price difference was $50, which is certainly not pocket change, but I went with amazon.com. Why did I go with Amazon? Because they gave me the information I needed to have confidence in the fulfillment of that order. To me, $50 was worth knowing that I was going to get the product on a certain day and that the product was really in stock.
You see, when an online retailer gets it right, they can actually afford to charge more because they are adding value to the product through supporting information such as inventory statistics, shipping time and even customer reviews of the product, which are, of course, a mainstay of amazon.com. By the way, if you've read much of my work, you know that I don't compliment companies very often. In fact, most of my writing is critical of what I see in the world, because I'm really looking for peak performance.
If you think about it, when you enter a search term, you know that you're looking for a particular piece of information -- such as an author's name, a book title or a DVD title -- but the amazon.com search engine doesn't know that at all. It has to take a guess based on its inventory to try to find what it thinks you want, and given that the Amazon.

One of the most comprehensive sources of EDT information is "Muscle Logic : Escalating Density Training" by Charles Staley, available in bookstores and at amazon.com. It gives you a solid introduction to escalating density training, simple rules for following EDT, and then provides photos depicting exactly what to do. To explain where this comes from and how it works, I first have to give you a brief history of Power Factor Training. Peter Sisco and John Little, who wrote the book of the same title, developed power factor training.

In March 2007, I conducted an internet search on amazon.com using several keywords. Amazon showed me 2,438 books that were about the "mind-body connection" and 1,081 books that were about "mind-body medicine." It also showed me 1,992 books about psychoneuroimmunology; 1,638 books about social support and health; 1,717 books about the health benefits of meditation; 5,913 books about the placebo effect; 11,724 titles concerned with stress and health; and a whopping 14,075 titles concerned with positive thinking. When I searched on the keyword "genomics," 15,138 titles turned up.

I figured if this was my destiny, if this was meant to be, then a short book review on amazon.com might lead to an avalanche. It was almost like rolling the dice, only now I gambled my career and the future of my family, to make a difference. This is what I wrote about Angell's book: ***** FANTASTIC READING, August 25, 2004 I should start with a disclaimer. I'm a Vice President within one of the largest drug companies in the world and I have spent close to twenty years marketing drugs. So I guess I'm not supposed to like this book. But the truth is I thought it was fantastic.

He posted a 5-star review of her book on amazon.com." Then she quoted me saying that "It's really hard to find new drugs, and it's getting harder and harder. There is a lot of low-hanging fruit out there that has been picked off. It is very, very difficult to really find a breakthrough."1 I also told her that drugmakers "focus on tweaking existing drugs to make money, not to advance science." TWENTY-FIVE Admissions by Pfizer's CEO recalling how effective my review of Marcia Angell's book on amazon.com had been, the April 2005 publication of Pfizer CEO Hank McKinnell's book A Call to Action?a book about the pharma industry and healthcare policy—gave me an opportunity to create more chaos. Tendentious and boring as I expected this book would be, I soon realized that, in fact, it was filled with so many amazing statements that I decided not just to do a review on Amazon, but to also distribute the review through a press release distributed to all news media and on the net.
