Vilcabamba Ecuador Living, Homes and Land

A NaturalNews PhotoTour by Mike Adams

This is a private garden and children's playground that belongs to one of the Vilcabamba residents. Located near the center of the town, this property is beautifully landscaped with flowers, stones, pools and herbs.

You can do this same kind of landscaping here for just pennies on the dollar. Although labor is trending upwards as more foreigners arrive, it currently runs about $12 / day for a worker. That's good pay for them, too, and they can comfortably live on that. Many workers here work during the day and attend night school to finish high school, so by providing them jobs, you're providing a way for them to pay the high school tuition (it costs a bit of money here for uniforms, books and registration).

In terms of landscaping, almost anything you can imagine can be built here. Set your creativity free and build your dream home!

Next: A river runs through it...
